Virgo Weekly Horoscope | July 14th – July 20th 2025
On July 18th, Ruling Planet Mercury turns retrograde in that part of your solar chart that pertains to self-undoing. That sounds more ominous than it is; the modern equivalent is self-sabotaging behavior which is why you'll want to stop pushing yourself to do something you don't feel like doing and go back the way you came. Not only are you in danger of repeating behavior you know won't work, you're also on the brink of hurting someone yet again. It's probably not what you want to hear right now, but you'll recognize the sagacity of this when Mercury comes out of retrograde on August 11th.

Go ahead and give recent choices the once over because there's a good chance you’ll discover that you were a lot savvier than you originally gave yourself credit for. It’s a good idea to apply Murphy’s Law to anything you do while Mercury is retrograde. Mercury will be retrograde from July 18th through August 11th. Murphy’s Law is the assumption that if anything can go wrong it will, but this isn’t as self-defeating as it sounds. It actually makes good sense because it gets you to map out your contingency plans ahead of time. Mercury retrograde will feel like a cosmic monkey wrench has been thrown into the smooth operations of your day-to-day life and it will be the things that you take for granted that will cause you the most aggravation now. This is why you will want to make sure that your car is in top shape, that meetings will be taking place as planned, and that you put the decimal point in the right place when making a Venmo payment or you could wind up paying more than you owe. You might also consider adding two weeks to any pressing deadline because there’s bound to be a last minute complication or unexpected delay.
