CAPRICORN HOROSCOPE

There’s a time to bird-dog matters and then there’s a time to step out of the way and let developments unfold on their own organically. This week is one of those times. Curb micro-managing tendencies on Thursday or risk wresting the reins out of the hands of the very person who can help you to get to where you want to go. This person sees the way ahead clearer than you right now and you would be well advised to follow their lead. You are entering one of your more prosperous cycles but this will only happen if you are open to others’ input.

There are few times in life when things come together perfectly, and this week is one of them. But the pieces falling into place aren’t the result of finally deducing the way they all fit together; it’s the result of being in the right time and place for this unique alignment of planets. Indeed, there will be such a sense of inevitability infused in all this that you can’t help but feel more like a bystander than a player. And perhaps you are. In any case, you’re experienced enough to not interject and wise enough to step back and let the Universe work its magic.

It’s human nature to think that we have more time. It comes from a natural inclination to put off for tomorrow what can be done today. When you’re born under Capricorn, you can’t help but believe that one day you’ll get together with that old friend, work on that project you’ve been meaning to get to, or reach a place of accomplishment where you finally get to do what you want. One of the amazing things about Aries is its driving sense of immediacy and urgency. It’s something you’ll experience on April 8th when the Solar Eclipse pushes you to act now or regret it.

Decisions aren’t going to sit easily with you during this time that Mercury is retrograde (April 1st – April 25th). You will be constantly second-guessing yourself, making up and unmaking up your mind, and even revisiting matters you regarded as final. However, treating things as up in the air isn’t the worst way to get through the next three weeks. It gets you to focus on things in the moment and to be open to other approaches. Yes, it could prove befuddling, but then again this Mercury retrograde may bring a refreshing change of pace and the kind of spontaneity that’s been missing for years.

Can it really be as easy as all that? Years of hardship dispersed by one chance meeting or friendly phone call? Won’t there be strings attached, unforeseen circumstances to consider, or a hidden catch lying in wait? No. There won’t. Venus is exalted in Pisces and the fact that she both rules and sextiles Uranus in Taurus shows closed doors opening. You will soon receive the recognition you deserve along with the invites and opportunities you’ve longed for. You’ve gone as far as you can on your own. Now it’s time to join forces and to work and live with people who truly get you.

As a Capricorn, you’re used to doing things on your own. If you’re given an assignment, you’ll disappear into your workspace and then reappear only when the assignment is complete and ready to show others. Well, Pluto in Aquarius is a very different animal than Pluto in Capricorn. Pluto in Aquarius insists you work with others and that you be open to their input and feedback. This may start out feeling like a nightmare, but don’t be surprised if it turns into a dream come true when you discover how creative and inspiring other people can be. You’re not the only smart one, you know.

Life is presenting you with a host of possibilities these days. You’re being invited to build on ideas you have in the works or to expand in different directions. None of these things are written in stone, however, and you could find that frustrating. As an earth sign, you prefer tangibles over variables. You don’t want to waste your time pursuing false hopes and what-if scenarios. However, the Sun/Neptune conjunction on March 17th is encouraging you to do just that. Go ahead and try a farfetched ambition on for size. You may find it metamorphosing into a very succinct course of action after the 25th.

Success in business doesn’t always result from beating out your competition and dominating the market. It’s not all about demographics, target audiences, and algorithms. There is such a thing as the human touch. Yes, you spend a lot of time on Zoom mediating gripes among co-workers, responding to your backlog of unanswered emails, and touching base with clients to make sure everything’s OK, but this type of interaction builds community and cooperation. It makes people feel valued – especially during times when they feel taken for granted. You will see how those efforts pay off in loyalty, support, and increased revenue in the weeks ahead.

You’re used to setbacks. You’ve experienced so many delays, complications, and unfulfilled promises that it’s hard to imagine progress without them. On one hand, the complications introduced by a triple conjunction of the Sun, Mercury, and Saturn on February 28th are to be expected. Things were moving along too smoothly for there not to be a hitch; however, these planetary energies aren’t here to thwart but rather to prevent you from repeating a mistake. People like to say there’s no such thing as too much of a good thing, but there is if it throws you off balance or creates more demand than you can meet.
