YOUR WEEKLY HOROSCOPE
It’s always scary leaving behind something that made you feel secure – be it a relationship, job, or street address; however the triple conjunction of the Sun, Mercury, and Saturn in Pisces on February 28th says to do just that. You’ve gone as far as you can go on the path you’ve been traveling, and to stick with it any longer would be stagnant if not retrograde. This period between now and April 20th is both exciting and invigorating. You will make more headway towards the goals you’ve set for yourself now that you’re free of situations you’ve outgrown and obligations that have lost their relevance.
There’s never just one cure-all. Not with you. The way out of a tight fix usually involves a series of short-term solutions stitched together to help you get from here to there. You hate having to borrow from Paul to pay Peter or coax a situation on its last legs to keep going just a little longer, yet this is also when you are the most creative and resourceful. You may yearn for security, but you also know there’s nothing more deadening than the formulaic. The trick is to find the midpoint between consistency and cacophony; something you’ll be discovering in the weeks to come.
You’ll be tempted to back down to make the other person feel better, but don’t because prospects change dramatically on February 16th thanks to the First Quarter Moon in Taurus. This signals that you would do better standing your ground than yielding it. Now conventional wisdom says otherwise; however, there are certain behind-the-scenes developments that will soon debunk all that. Meanwhile, enjoy the thrill. It’s been a while since you’ve been so willing to go against the grain and it’s a feeling you’ve sorely missed. Pluto changing signs has released you from your underground bunker, and you are eager to make up for lost time.
They say that when a door closes, a window opens. It’s a comforting phrase meant to reassure those who have met with disappointment or who are preparing to part ways; but for you, it’s truer than you know. Yes, a certain association or obligation has come to an end but the Stars couldn’t be in a bigger hurry to get you traveling down that new path they’ve prepared for you. You may think that you’re entering a time of quiet self-reflection, but that will quickly change in just a few short weeks. If anything, you’ll be racing to keep up with events already in motion.
Putting all your eggs in one basket is never a good thing, which is why it will be nice to hear from other baskets on February 2nd. Will this allow you to leave where you are and go somewhere else? No, but the point isn’t to replace one client with another but to develop a stable of patrons so that you’re not dependent on just one. You’re one of those people who will give their all in hopes of being taken care of, but oftentimes that doesn’t happen. Having a bevy of customers creates competition, more revenue, and all the appreciation you could ever hope for.
You’re going to feel like an overstuffed closet bursting open when there’s a Full Moon in Leo on January 25th. This is when all those anxieties, grievances, and unresolved issues you’ve been keeping hidden from view come pouring out. On one hand, it will feel like a relief because you’ve really hit a wall and can’t continue as is; on the other hand, you’re going to feel very exposed and vulnerable. But no worries. It’s not like you’re expressing something that others haven’t felt. If anything, this invites them to commiserate, lend a hand with picking up the pieces and help put matters right.
Have you gone through hell and high water only to reach a dead end? That’s what it will feel like when your Ruling Planet the Moon squares the Sun on January 17th. You deserve more for having figured out an upside-down situation, come up with a plan, and then stitch together a series of makeshift solutions to get you from where you were to where you are today. Everything depended on this last step and now it’s blocked. Actually, you need to wait for both the Sun and Pluto to move into Aquarius. Once settled, you’ll espy the opening you’re looking for on the 28th.
It may feel like you’re getting a late start with the New Moon appearing in the third decan of Capricorn on January 11th. So late in fact, that you may consider skipping the endeavor all together. Rethink it! This New Moon trines Uranus, planet of revolution and change, thereby redirecting its unpredictable energy so that it works for you rather than against. In other words it may be rivals who experience surprise upsets, squander their leads, or are unceremoniously disqualified. Uranus has a funny way of reshaping the playing field when it’s in your corner as you’ll see for yourself in the weeks to come.
Eclipses in the Spring and Autumn bring to a head tensions between home and career. It feels as if you can’t respond to one without betraying the other yet there’s more going on than establishing a better work-life balance. It’s almost as if the more you focus on one party, the more jealous the other one becomes. This is a good time to remember that both sides need you which means you’re in a position to dictate how things will play out. Change your mindset from being pulled in opposite directions to being someone neither side can live without, and you get to call the shots.
Somewhere along the way, you lost touch with your truest guide of all – your gut. Some zodiac signs rely on facts and stats while others turn to the people they know. Then there are those who keep taking risks with the repetition of a wrecking ball in hopes that something will break through. Your strength has always been your deep-seated response to any situation; it’s something that can’t be explained or measured. Now you may feel like you’re fumbling around in the dark, but if you tune into the Full Moon energy on December 26th, then you will quickly intuit where you want to go.
