YOUR WEEKLY HOROSCOPE
Mars square Uranus on March 9th shows you taking yet another wild spin on the Wheel of Fortune. What was up is down, and what was down is now up, and it’s anyone’s guess as to how the whole thing will play out. Yet there is a greater design at work behind all of this if you’re willing to buy a vowel and gain some insight. What looked radical and too “out there” months ago now seems infinitely doable. Things aren’t as impossible as they once were; if anything, their time has come. This requires you to revisit some of those decisions you made recently.
You often wonder if the bus you’re on is taking you to where you want to go. Is it making all these stops and turns because it’s a local and not an express, or is it really headed in the wrong direction? The impulse to find another ride will become heightened on March 3rd when Venus squares Uranus. This is when you’ll feel like you’ve given a situation all you can, and to continue with it is sheer masochism. However, the Stars counsel staying the course – even if it feels counterintuitive. You don’t want to disembark right when you’re on the verge of getting somewhere.
There’s often an undeniable attraction when Venus conjoins Mars in the sky (February 22nd). Yet what should be a romantic encounter can easily turn into a game of one-upmanship when they come together in Aquarius. That’s because each planet is trying to impress the other with their intellect and worldly experience. Since neither is willing to play the appreciative audience, it can turn into a standoff. Be the first to praise the other person – even if it feels like you’re fanning their ego – and you’ll soon see that the reason they wanted to impress you was in order to get you to like them.
Is your ideology running away with you? It’s a question worth asking when Mars conjoins Pluto in Aquarius on February 14. “Idealistic” doesn’t always mean naïve; sometimes it’s a system of thought – or creed – that people subscribe to in order to live happy lives. It sounds pleasant enough – Utopian even – but that need to control others can get a bit out of control when Mars and Pluto are thrown into the mix. One of the virtues of being an Aquarian is in embracing diverse opinions. It’s something to keep in mind when you find your vision narrowing into a “my way or the highway” mindset.
Sun/Uranus squares are famous for tossing you curve-balls from out of left field and being an Aquarius you’ve gotten used to handling them. Sometimes you’ll even toss them back; however, the close proximity of this square to the New Moon in your sign on February 9th shows that even you will be thrown for a loop by this one. Whatever the surprise revelation it will be what people famously call “a nice problem to have”. Take your time sizing up this new situation and all of its repercussions. It’s replete with possibilities and promises to change the rules of the game – and in your favor.
Last Quarter Moons – like the one on February 2nd – often bring a sense of finality; a feeling that things are winding down and coming to a close. This will be especially resonant now that Pluto has moved into your sign. Some Aquarians may feel regret for opportunities that didn’t pan out while others will be relieved to be rid of obligations that defined them for too long. Wherever you fall in this range it’s important to be mindful of the threshold you are crossing. It’s like moving into a new house. Your furniture and belongings are the same, but where they go will be different.
Aquarians often make good executives. It’s a strange concept given your rebellious reputation, but in truth, you tend to be a lot more establishmentarian than you’re given credit for. This comes from your interest in building consensus, ensuring that every voice be heard, and a fundamental belief that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. All of these qualities will be on show this week when the Full Moon triggers a T-square in the fixed signs of Leo, Aquarius, and Taurus. People may be a bit put off by your inflexible stance, but in time they’ll see it’s for their own good.
The spotlight’s on you with the Sun and Pluto entering your zodiac sign on January 20th. It’s all the Astrologers are talking about so it’s hard not to feel anxious as they cobble together their diagnoses and predictions. If you were a Leo you’d be in seventh heaven with all this attention, but you’re an Aquarius so you’re not. Just know that [A] the big change has already happened and [B] you have a gut feeling about what it is. This is your personal truth; your private revelation which means you get to choose when and if you feel like sharing it with anyone else.
The Sun/Uranus aspect on January 9th is what’s called a “closing trine” in Astrology. It’s favorable for sealing a deal, closing a sale, or finalizing an agreement. All assurances are essentially “set in stone” when planets like these form a trine in earth signs. This promises peace of mind, but being an Aquarius you should also not be surprised by an unexpected invite or offer following on its heels. It’s not something you can act on now – it’s too early to tell what sort of future it promises – but it’s certainly worth considering. Keep communication channels open as developments unfold over the next few months.
Pluto in Aquarius may not be a bad experience. If anything, it may feel like you’re coming into your own. Saturn in Aquarius from 2021 to 2023 did a lot to acclimate you to the energies of this dark and transformative planet. Your recent struggles with depression and self-doubt deepened you rather than stifled you so that Pluto’s trine to Jupiter in Gemini this May will pave the way for a whole new chapter in your life that begins to emerge over the next two years. You’ve done a lot of interior work and improvement. Now it’s time for your exterior circumstances to reflect it.

YOUR YEARLY HOROSCOPE
Brought to you by Jamie Magee
Aquarius, 2024, will invite personal reinvention, shifting values, and exploratory adventure. Your innovative approach to life will be vital in navigating through these transformative times.
Top Themes for the Year:
• Deep personal transformations and self-realization.
• Explorations in belief systems and learning.
• Balancing individuality with shared resources and values.
Pluto, the planet of transformation, moves into your 1st house on January 20th, signaling an intense period of self-evolution and reinvention (an energy you previewed in early 2023). This is when your identity, physicality, and personal initiatives may go through a profound metamorphosis. You might experience a renewed sense of self or, conversely, a dismantling of previously held self-concepts, opening space for new personal paradigms to emerge.
The Libra eclipses in 2024 (on March 25th & October 2nd) will highlight new horizons. In many ways, you often feel called to return to something “closer to home.” You’ve gained wisdom and experience by chasing the horizon, and now it’s time to explore how you can integrate this into familiar rituals—yet in a courageous new way. The Aries eclipse on April 8th will help you see where your presence is needed locally or how you can communicate in a new way.
Your traditional ruling planet, Saturn, has been touring Pisces since spring 2023. Topics of values, resources, and skill sets have been up for review and will gain more focus in 2024. Mars will meet Saturn on April 10th, and on September 17th, there will be a Pisces eclipse. The invitation is to use courage and strategy to cut through the fog and understand what matters and why. The sooner you tap into this awareness, the easier it will be to navigate and explore the path unfolding now.
A high point to recognize in 2024 is the action of Jupiter. This abundant planet has been focused on your roots and home life. In 2024, Jupiter will meet with Uranus on April 20th, followed by Venus and Jupiter on May 23rd. Unexpected changes, expansions, or innovations related to your living situation, family matters, or emotional landscapes may surface, inviting you to adapt and grow in these personal domains. Soon after, on May 25th, Jupiter will enter Gemini for the first time in 12 years and highlight your 5th house. The opportunity to abundantly explore your passions will be hard to miss. What do you want to create, Aquarius?
Aquarius, your inventive, forward-thinking, and humanitarian qualities will guide you through a year of rich experiences and evolutionary leaps. Trust the vision emerging in your heart.
