YOUR WEEKLY HOROSCOPE
All it takes is one change to set off a domino effect. It began with the Venus/Uranus square on March 3rd and continues with the Mars/Uranus square on March 9th. Your first reaction may be to try to salvage the situation, but you’re better off stepping back and letting the Uranian energy play out. It’s bigger than you are – which is a fact you’ve learned to accept since this unpredictable planet first entered your sign in 2018. You know from experience that you won’t know what’s what until the dust settles – which should be around the 28th. Meanwhile: who knew there were so many dominos?
The Mars/Jupiter square on February 27 shows a rival at work trying to horn in on your turf. They’ll try to disguise it in “corporate speak,” but it’s clearly a hostile takeover. Your first reaction may be to holler “get off my lawn (or the workplace equivalent) but that would be as effective as a teenager scribbling “No Adults Allowed” on a piece of paper and taping it to their bedroom door. Meet your opponent’s passive-aggressiveness with some passive-aggressiveness of your own. You can speak the jargon just as well as they can – probably even better. Do this, and they’ll move on to easier prey.
People are looking for you to step down or get out of the way, but that won’t be happening. Their priorities are not your priorities, and if there was ever a time to sit down in the middle of the road and wait things out, then it would be now. It’s true you’ll have to put up with their nagging, insults, and even threats, but you were born with a thick hide. You’ve endured worse. And like a castle that’s lifted its drawbridge and drained the moat, you’ll find that your patience is longer than theirs, which will produce an eventual judgment in your favor.
This week brings a shift in the balance of power. You’ve always been a provider – the person who works hard to ensure everyone’s needs are met. Nobody will go hungry or want for anything under your watch; however, this has also prompted you to make other people’s business your business. You may see it as reasonable since you’re paying the bills, but they might disagree. Instead of feeling betrayed by the pushback you’ll receive from those who should be grateful, try to recognize how they’ve outgrown the current setup and are looking to assert their own independence. It’s something you want to support, not deny.
You don’t like being forced to choose between one party or another. Not only does it go against your Venus nature – which is always looking for a way to have her cake and eat it too – but it’s also impractical. Nobody owns you nor did you mislead anyone into believing your loyalty was exclusive. What it gets down to is hurt feelings resulting from a bruised ego. Take the time to smooth over ruffled feathers while maintaining your autonomy. You’ll get what you want because both sides want you, but at the same time, you don’t want to look like you’re taking advantage of it.
It’s true that you’re no big fan of change. You were born under a fixed sign, and fixed signs stay the course. However, years of Uranus, the wild card planet, traveling through your zodiac sign has taught you to be more proactive when it comes to negotiating those crazy curve-balls that get thrown at you from out of left field. You used to see them as upsetting the status quo and now they look more like invitations to seize your future. This week an opportunity lands in your lap, and you’d be wise to pursue it. A lot can happen between now and April 20th.
You thought you had more time to prevail upon a skeptic to see things from your point of view, but Uranus out of retrograde on January 27th says time’s up. Developments that were on hold are back in motion now that the planet of unpredictability is on the move. In fact, what’s taking place now may have rendered some differences moot. Ironically, this puts you and that naysayer on the same page as you must both scramble to salvage a situation that’s teetering on the brink. Perhaps the greatest twist of all is how Uranus actually brings the cooperation you were seeking from the start.
Sometimes we’re not ready to make the decisions that need to be made. Circumstances may hold your feet to the fire, but that doesn’t mean you’re prepared to act. For months you’ve watched as the formulas for success and fail-safe guarantees fell short of what you need to get by. In fact, you’ve begun to question what “getting by” really means. You’re in a place where the old answers don’t work, and the new ones are barely formed. Thankfully Jupiter in Taurus is a steadfast guardian. It will hold things together until you feel the ground beneath your feet again in just a few weeks.
Your hard work and perseverance pays off this week when Mars forms a trine to Jupiter on January 12th. This could result in a bonus, raise, or even a promotion. Hopefully it will materialize on its own, but if not then you may want to sit down with an employer to discuss matters. One should always be recognized for a job well done and in a perfect world you would be, but sometimes you have to remind the higher-ups not to take you for granted. You’ve proven yourself to be invaluable which makes this planetary trine between earth signs an auspicious time to be compensated.
Jupiter, the planet of good fortune and higher purpose, winds up its stay in Taurus in late May. That means you have five months to seal the deal when it comes to love or money. This is not an initiating energy but rather a culminating one, so limit your focus to things that are already in the works. These are the areas of life that will benefit most from your careful attention. Your wild card day is April 20th when Jupiter conjoins revolutionary Uranus. Things could fall apart just short of completion, or this could give you the final boost needed to cross the finish line.

YOUR YEARLY HOROSCOPE
Brought to you by Jamie Magee
Taurus, your 2024 horoscope invites a transformative journey full of needed growth. You might find your world beautifully altered when the calendar turns its final page.
Top Themes for the Year:
– Balancing mind and body through daily habits & work ethics.
– Expressing oneself boldly and possibly undertaking a re-branding.
– Anchoring and affirming your values and dreams
2024 kicks off with Pluto shifting back into your 10th house (January 20th), acting as a catalyst for profound shifts within your career and public persona. This energy’s invitation is to move toward what supports your purpose while dismantling barriers that block success. You can count on Pluto to instill lessons that are as enriching as they are profound.
2024 will also invite you to harmonize your mind & body balance. This task can be done by focusing on your daily habits and work life. This topic will highlight the Libra eclipse in your 6th house on March 25th and the Aries eclipse in your 12th house on April 8th.
This inner work will help set you up for long-term success, courage, strategy regarding your dreams, and supportive networks. On April 10th, Mars & Saturn will meet up in your 11th house, and on September 17th, there will be a Pisces eclipse in this area. The question this energy has for you is… What’s your dream? And who or what do you need to support it?
A pivotal, positive shift may come as Jupiter & Uranus meet in your sign on April 20th, followed by Venus & Jupiter on May 23rd – look for out-of-the-ordinary yet extraordinary opportunities. Please focus on the solutions you want, not the reasons you can’t reach them.
Jupiter’s transition into Gemini (your 2nd house) on May 25th opens a chapter where financial growth and a renewed evaluation of your values take the main stage; the last time Jupiter was here was in 2012 – what themes were up for you then? What did you leave on the table, and what do you desire now?
You will continue to unpack these big questions as the year unfolds. Taurus, trust that in 2024, your grounded, resilient, and pragmatic nature will be your greatest ally.
