YOUR WEEKLY HOROSCOPE
You have great respect for authority. Many can wax poetic about what they’d do if they were in the driver’s seat, but they often lack the nerve for leadership. This is why you support those in charge because responsibility is a heavy burden to bear. That said, it’s glaringly obvious that a certain supervisor is out of their depth. Moreover, they’ve become a huge problem that the chain of command doesn’t want to acknowledge which means it’s up to you to do something about it on March 9th. You don’t relish leading the charge for change, but you’ll do it if nobody else will.
You and a friend face an awkward situation on February 27 when you learn you’re both competing for the same prize. At first, you’ll want to bow out but adopt a “may the best person win” attitude instead. You aren’t betraying a friendship by pursuing something you want any more than the other person is trying to thwart you. You’re equally matched, and this promises to be quite the contest. Just remember to shake hands after one of you is declared the winner. Good sportsmanship is a rare sight nowadays, and the fact that you and your friend practice it is an encouraging sign indeed.
You already got your answer (which was no), so why hang around? Because you want to. Sure, they hired somebody else for the job you applied for, but you’d still like to work for that company one day. And yes, the person you’re attracted to may be in a relationship, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be friends. People say you’re either being a masochist or asking for trouble, and they’re entitled to their opinion. As an Aries – whose Mars is traveling through Aquarius – you have no problem waiting for things to change, and when they do – you want to be the first in line.
How well do you play with others? It’s something you’ll be thinking about when Ruling Planet Mars conjoins Pluto in Aquarius on February 14. Aquarius is all about putting the group’s interests ahead of your own. In truth, you’ve always been a team player, albeit an outstanding one given your fiery nature. Now you must coordinate efforts, take into account people’s feelings, and adjust your aims and methods so that everyone benefits. At first, you won’t like it – why should you share credit with those who don’t perform as well as you – but that will change as you grow more comfortable with your new role.
You came ready for a fight, but you’ll be offered a ceasefire instead. This is what happens when your Ruling Planet Mars forms a sextile to Neptune on February 7th. This is more than just a little vexing since you have the upper hand, but then again, this may be your best chance to reach a settlement. It won’t be easy putting aside your grievances – it feels like the other party is getting off easy – yet you have to think in terms of the big picture. Is an ongoing dispute really worth it? Standing down will be painful, but it’s the right thing to do.
The time to act is now! The Mars/Uranus trine on January 29th shows that there’s nothing to be gained by waiting for all the pieces to fall into place. Fortune favors the bold, as they say, which means that you need to push for what you want. Now you may feel like what you’re doing is reckless, but it’s not. The wonderful thing about earth trines is that they’re naturally methodical and always produce results. It’s true that there will be a number of people who will be taken aback by your actions, but there’s a much larger number who will say it’s about time.
There’s such a thing as being right but at the wrong time, which is why God invented discretion. Holding your tongue may seem like self-censorship, but take a moment to weigh what you have to say when Mercury conjoins Mars on January 27th. Obviously, someone needs to speak up, and you have no problem being that person, but is it really going to serve the situation in the long run? Chances are it will only add to the outrage. Perhaps it would be better to wait until you have a solution to go along with that critique and then meet with a superior in private?
You’re bound to feel a rush of enthusiasm and excitement thanks to the First Quarter Moon in Aries on January 17th. This coincides with finally being invited to present an idea you’ve been developing or given the authority to spearhead a project. But no sooner are you granted this than you discover that interest has already moved on to something else, and you’re coming in right when things are winding down. So is your big break over before it began? That’s one way of looking at it. Another is that it’s up to you to resuscitate something that everyone else had given up for dead.
Aries people are said to be rash and impulsive because they were born under Mars, but this isn’t always the case. There’s nothing reckless about a star athlete’s performance or slipshod about a first responder’s crisis training. Both professions are ruled by Mars and demand supreme focus along with an ability to keep calm under pressure. Mars in Capricorn this week invites you to take a similar disciplined approach to an opportunity that requires your commitment and patience. Should you decide to sign on for this endeavor – which will demand a lot – then the rewards and returns will be greater than you can imagine.
The north node in Aries pushes you to rise to the occasion of yourself. Contrary to popular opinion, Aries people aren’t born leaders. This is something that will change in 2024 – along with your relationship status. Don’t be surprised if you wind up finding the perfect mate in April. September through November brings a serious challenge to your authority. At first, you may try to retreat, but it looks like you’ll power through to claim your title as king/queen of the hill. It signals a great personal triumph – but also a whole new mess of trouble when Ruling Planet Mars turns retrograde on December 6th.

YOUR YEARLY HOROSCOPE
Brought to you by Jamie Magee
Aries, this year is packed with swift change & opportunities for growth. In many ways, by year’s end, your entire life will have changed.
Top Themes for the Year:
• Asserting your individuality within partnerships.
• Closing chapters to pave the way for fresh starts.
• Refining and standing firm in your values.
In true Aries fashion, you may feel clear and ready to charge into the unknown as the year begins. In the first part of the year, you may find yourself profoundly accessing where you are in life and who is at your side. And more importantly, what can you do to change this for the better? The choices you make in the year’s first half will need some unpacking, revisions, and adjustments in the last half. The more conscious you are of the actions and the reasons for taking them, the better.
Let’s look at some of the most significant energies you’ll work with in 2024…
On January 20th, Pluto will move back into your 11th house. The sooner you engage familiar themes that came up in early 2023, the easier the path for growth and change will be. A key thing to remember is that Pluto wants you to be successful and knows what’s holding you back. The lessons of this planet are profound, revealing, but ultimately elevating.
Throughout this year, you’ll often feel as if you’re on a quest to uncover yourself at a soul-deep level. Self-discovery is a theme of this year’s eclipses for you (happening in March/ April and September/ October). Trust that wants ends or beings has a karmic purpose.
Mercury in retrograde in Aries across your birthday season and Mars & Saturn meeting up in your 12th house will also support the theme of “letting go to grow.” Remember that sometimes, we must go back to go forward. You may be leaning into unexpected opportunities as you wrap up your birthday season. Jupiter & Uranus will meet, and then Venus & Jupiter will support topics of your wealth, values, and overall self-esteem. Investing in you should be your priority. Finding the right allies to help support your values will be easier as Jupiter moves into Gemini in May for the first time in 12 years. With this energy, you may quickly find a new flow of daily connections and partnerships and focus on your dreams.
At this point in the year, you’ll be standing at a threshold between who you were a few months prior and who you will be by year’s end. As the year progresses and you unpack these energies, trust your fiery instincts, and you can’t go wrong, Aries.
