PISCES HOROSCOPE

Venus/Saturn conjunctions (April 24th) are famous for getting you to seriously examine your feelings. If you feel like things could succeed in your relationship if only the other person would change in the way you want them to then this may not be the partnership for you. However if you're dedicated to improving relations – no matter how long it takes – then stay the course and you'll eventually find your way back to each other. Then again since this is the last Venus/Saturn conjunction in Pisces for 28 years, you might be better off just throwing in the towel and saying “enough is enough.”

It will be strange to experience the Mercury/Neptune conjunction on April 17th. For the past fourteen years these conjunctions have always been in Pisces but now they're in Aries. You may surprise yourself with how direct you are in expressing what you want and when you want it. You may also be surprised by how quickly people respond. You may feel a bit exposed speaking your mind in quick clipped sentences without all that verbal camouflage, but in the end people will have a more accurate idea of where you're coming from. This easy exchange of information is definitely something you could get used to.

We all tend to manufacture excuses for why someone we're attracted to doesn't return our affections. Maybe this person has trouble expressing themselves or suffers from trust issues. Indeed given the emotional depth and imagination of Venus in Pisces, you could wind up telling yourself all kinds of stories. Yet the question is – do you really want to exhaust yourself trying to win over someone who doesn't want to be won over? The bald-faced truth of the Venus/Saturn conjunction on April 7th may be hard to take, but accepting it saves you from trying to force a fit with someone who was never a good match.

Retrograde Venus trine Mars on April 6th could bring a romance with someone from the wrong side of the tracks, a friendship with a person from a different culture, or a fascination with an acquaintance who espouses a different set of beliefs. This could set up an embattled situation with loved ones and friends. People will warn you away from this association and if you're not serious you might want to skip the headache; but, if you are serious then be prepared to be the object of ire and derision. It shows that you can push the limit if you want to and once you do – you can see how much ground you can take. Indeed how much you accomplish in the weeks ahead depends on your willingness to dare, to take a chance, and give chase. Nothing can stay the same as a result of this eclipse, but in the same breath nothing can hinder you either. That’s what happens when you decide if you’re going to go for broke or not.

You won't be pleased to discover that a deadline is a lot sooner than you thought. In fact it's so imminent that you're uncertain you can meet it. These target dates often catch Pisces people unawares. That's because you're used to undersea time which doesn't work the same as dry land time. There life moves according to the ebb and flow of the tides and not this thing people call “real time”. Nevertheless you're up to the challenge and should really push yourself to get the project, assignment, or endeavor done. Not only will you deliver as expected – you may have extra time to spare.

The question for you on March 14th is whether or not a relationship is worth pursuing (or salvaging). The roots of this lie in what took place six months ago i.e. September. This might have been when you met someone new or you agreed to give things another chance with a lover or partner. If things are still “meh”, then this is the time to cut ties. The Lunar Eclipse is all about clearing away the deadwood in order to make room for fresh growth. If, however, there are promising signs of life, then this is the time to invest more time and energy.

Pisces people often need to retreat from the world in order to regain their psychic equilibrium, so don't feel bad about taking a couple of days off. Think of a reservoir. If it doesn't replenish its reserves after a good solid rain, then it will run dry. You can't expect to produce much if you're running on empty. The New Moon will also bring a more centered you. It's hard bringing things in for a landing. You're much more comfortable with process. The deadline has been extended so many times that you're in danger of jeopardizing what you've been working on. Put aside anxieties about things left out because your work speaks for itself—and much better now that other eyes get to see it.
