Yet what’s nice about the timing is that it’s given you and the other party a cooling-off period so you can reflect on what you each want. Things were quite tense when Uranus reversed direction last August, and now it feels like you can have the discussion that would have been impossible back then. Chances are you’ll pick up right where you left off – arguing – but given a few days you’ll see the conversation become more conciliatory and supportive.

You’ll be taken aback on January 25th when a usually agreeable person decides not to do what you say or worse – talks back. Your first response may be to put them in their place, but take a moment to think about what’s going down. Accusations of being bossy are nothing new for Leos, but this change is deeper than that. Aquarians often make good executives. It’s a strange concept given your rebellious reputation, but in truth, you tend to be a lot more establishmentarian than you’re given credit for. This comes from your interest in building consensus, ensuring that every voice be heard, and a fundamental belief that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. All of these qualities will be on show this week when the Full Moon triggers a T-square in the fixed signs of Leo, Aquarius, and Taurus. Money’s been burning a hole in your pocket since Mars entered Capricorn on January 4th. Unfortunately, Mercury, your astrological ruler, conjoining the red planet on January 27th shows expenses snowballing. This is more about bad timing than it is a problem with spending. Either a deposit failed to cover costs as promised or you got hit with a bunch of bills all at the same time. Thankfully, Uranus comes out of retrograde this weekend. It won’t take the sting out of what you owe, but it will wrap things up quickly so that you’re no longer doling out cash like a stoker feeding the furnace.

Be careful not to put people’s noses out of joint when Mercury conjoins Mars in Capricorn on January 27th. On one hand, you’re perfectly right to point out a fault or defect. This could have done some serious damage if it wasn’t addressed. However, the problem with Mercury/Mars conjunctions is in the delivery. There tends to be a brusqueness combined with a snippy condescension that can be extremely off-putting. Nobody likes being made to feel stupid, and this is something you’ll need to be sensitive about if you don’t want to undermine your message.
