I’ve got to get in there and be connected to the right level of my independence. I think that this is a wonderful week to evaluate this in all of the relationships we have because you don’t want to be so independent that you’re off by yourself and you don’t want to be codependent, right? So where’s that mix? And that is really truly a different place for people, you’ve got to find your right fit.”

“Independence and collaboration actually conflict. You cannot be independent and in a partnership, a true partnership. I don’t know about you guys out there, but that like strikes the fear of God in me because independence has been something that I have valued throughout my life. I realize that independence can also be a reaction to not wanting to be vulnerable. At the beginning of this week look at your collaboration and relationships and consider where you’ve become overly reliant on the idea of independence.”
