A Lunar Eclipse is a time when things unravel or fall apart. It sounds negative, but it doesn't have to be. Think of a snake shedding its skin. As a snake grows, its skin doesn't grow with it, which is why snakes periodically shed their outer layer of skin. It's in order to accommodate their increasing size. It's no different than a crab molting its shell or a plant that's outgrown its pot. When things unravel or fall apart during a Lunar Eclipse, it's because their time has passed and, like deadwood in nature, they need to be cleared away in order to make way for new growth. The Lunar Eclipse on August 28th is especially important because it follows on the heels of the North Node changing signs and since the North Node was traveling through Pisces, that means that this eclipse is meant to free you from those past habits or behavioral patterns that no longer serve you. Now you may not see it that way, in fact some of the things leaving your life may be fixtures that you thought would last forever, but if you remember that the eclipse is all about promoting new growth then that may help you to move forward into your next chapter.
