I’ve been really enjoying the house series, but I have to admit that I was very disappointed in the shallow and pessimistic narrative given to the 8th house here. The 8th house is so dark, and juicy. Definitely an intimidating house, but it should be. It’s the origin point of all our journeys into the underworld. It forces us to encounter our darkest desires, and most deeply buried treasures. I really wish this one could have a do over. Maybe find someone with some knowledge of the Eleusinian Mysteries and an understanding the dark feminine.
