The 4th House

About the 4th House

When planets are in the Fourth House, you can’t actually see them from where you’re standing, because they are overhead on the other side of the planet; since it’s opposite the South of the chart, we call it the North.

But as the “bottom of the sky,” it represents your roots, your lineage and heritage. You ancestors and family traditions too. Your lands and estate. In other words, the place from which you spring forth.

In a modern sense, it might also be your deep unconscious and genetic legacy.
