Venus is the planet of what I like in Astrology. Her mission is to surround you with all the things you find pleasing and to attract people into your life who like the things you like, laugh at the same jokes, enjoy the same music, and hate the same politicians. Yet when Venus is retrograde (like she is now), she attracts all the things you don't like into your life. Things like unwanted attention and unholy boors. This becomes even more pertinent when retrograde Venus forms an exact conjunction to the Sun on October 23rd. This is called a “cazimi” in Astrology, and it signifies a time when you're likely to be caught saying or doing the wrong thing with the wrong person at the wrong time. What makes it worse is that it could be both public and humiliating. If you don't want to become a lightning rod of controversy, then it's probably best to avoid social media between now and October 25th because anything you post can and will be memed against you. And if you become the target of mob fury? Then find yourself a Shame Nun to follow you through the streets ringing a bell and yelling “Shame!” over and over again.
