SEPTEMBER 27, 2015

The Full Moon is at 4 – 5 degree of Aries on September 27
(7:50 PM Pacific, 10:50 PM Eastern)

A total eclipse of the Moon in Aries is a time to dive deep emotionally and take conscious action on your intentions. Eclipses usually come in pairs, two weeks apart at the New and the Full Moon. On September 12th and 13th, the last New Moon created a partial eclipse with the Sun. Now this Sunday, September 27, 2015, the Full Moon aligns with the Sun directly in the shadow of the Earth to create a total lunar eclipse in the Zodiac sign of Aries.

People born with birth years in the early 1970’s or those with birth dates between the 23rd to 30th in the months of September, December, March or June are especially touched by this total lunar eclipse.

Anyone with birthdays at this time are invited to take a more quiet year. This is a time for reflection, going inside, and expressing yourself differently now. This time is not as outwardly focused, it is a time to look inward…

It is a good idea for all of us, but especially the individuals with birthdays listed above, to take a step back and re-consider the ways that we radiate our essence and express ourselves in the world.

Eclipses also offer an ideal time to reflect on our shadow or integrate aspects of ourselves that are often overlooked. Take time to consider the aspects of yourself that you keep hidden (either your more “dark” traits OR your “light” traits) and see if you can bring them into conscious awareness. Bless these aspects of you and embrace them as part of what makes you complete and whole.

5 Tips for the Total Lunar Eclipse

1. Listen to your instinct

Explore moving with your intuition. Since Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac, this Full Moon Eclipse inspires creativity and going with your gut.

2. Tune in and take your time

Patience is implied as the magnetic Moon, eclipsed in fiery Aries, speaks with serious Saturn in Sagittarius. Saturn supports slowing down, being responsible and persistently managing situations over time. Look before you leap.

3. Keep it real

Having a practical plan helps bring your big ideas back down to Earth. The weeks near the September eclipses are special times to energize intentions. On September 16, Jupiter, the planet of blessings and expansion, faces off to dreamy Neptune. As they both square off to serious Saturn now in Sagittarius over the coming months, these broader planet patterns support making your dreams real with some practical planning.

4. Act instead of React

Gathering information and contemplating the thoughtful opinions of others supports intelligent action over reactivity. While the Sun and logic loving Mercury are in the sign of the Scales, take this time to weigh and balance another person’s perspective before speaking out or making your plans.

5. Remember, it’s Mercury Retrograde

Reflect, revise and redo. Notice repetition here? It’s best to reassess the situation before making your move. Mercury is Retrograde from September 17 through October 9th, 2015. This is another indicator to slow down in the coming weeks. Reminders for the Mercury Retrograde cycle are found here.
