Mercury square Uranus on September 3rd days before the planet of revolution and change turns retrograde is bound to be harum-scarum. It's analogous to a boss telling you that everything on a project has to be changed before jetting off for a weeks' long vacation where he's not to be disturbed. Thankfully crazy directions are nothing new to someone who's lived with Uranus in their sign for seven years. You know full well how what's changed can be unchanged so keep plans in your back pocket because either you'll return to them in the weeks ahead or repurpose them in some creative or inventive way.

Nevertheless you're not in a position to do anything about it now so you might as well step into line and support them in their lost cause when Mars squares Jupiter on September 4th. It's a sad display, but necessary in order to replace this person with a more accomplished leader – something that you'll see happen on October 28th.
URANUS RETROGRADE | Weekly Horoscope | September 1st – September 7th 2025
Uranus retrogrades are famous for their pendulum swings. Although not as abrupt in their impact as a typical Uranus transit, they can be just as absolute and uncompromising. Let's say that you've spent months rallying against a cause, refusing to yield an inch on a hotly contested point, or even entertaining the idea of considering things from a different point of view. When that pendulum swings – like it will on September 6th – you could find yourself waking up in the morning on a different side of the brain. You may start to embrace (if not exactly champion) the very things you once found objectionable.
