Uranus turning retrograde doesn't exactly put life on hold, but it does slow developments down significantly. And since it reversed direction last September, you've enjoyed a bit of a holiday. No bolts out of the blue, unexpected reversals, or rude awakenings to contend with. Now this isn't to say that you've been absolutely immune. Uranus is still the planet of revolution and change, however its backwards motion allowed for a heads up beforehand so that many of the things that would have taken you by surprise – didn't.
