Well, Christopher, by the end of your podcast I was crying, too. Your storytelling and your wisdom will stay with me. Thank-you!

I totally remember having those film projectors. We must have seen The Red Balloon a dozen times. Our school also had a copy of a film about Easter Island, a.k.a. Rapa Nui, that inspired me enormously. I ended up going there while pregnant, conducting a performance ritual for an art project! Annnyway–

I agree about balloons and bubbles. Jupiter expands things. In Pisces conjunct Neptune, seems to me it’s going to expand emotion, illusion, delusion, actual dreams (not “stuff i wish would happen to me” but nighttime dreams), poetry, music, psychic activity, “messages” or downloads, oracular work, divination, Deep Depths, astrology of course… and ancestral connections through time with potential for healing.

That’s just so much stuff! For many of us, that results in overwhelm. I have been disappointed in many online astrologers encouraging people to assume this conjunction in Pisces is all going to be hearts and flowers, sunshine and rainbows. For some folks, especially the sensitives who are naturally attracted to things like astrology and Tarot, this is actually a challenging aspect. A cool one, with a lot of potential, but *challenging.* We need everyday self-care during this time. Watching “The Red Balloon” in a hot bath, drinking a sparkling lavender Aurora hemp, trimming down a hectic schedule. To me these things seem like reasonable responses to this onslaught of mega-Pisces, Jupiter-Neptune, water element energy!

Beautiful! I too remember the projectors in school and how much fun it was to have a special film to see during school time. And I remember The Red Balloon! It occurred to me as you were telling the story that the red balloon is like the big red spot on Jupiter and the blue balloon is like Neptune. It is indeed a lovely choice to experience and see the world and daily life as endlessly enchanted. Thank you so much!
