Sagittarius Weekly Horoscope | April 7th – April 13th 2025
This would probably be a good time to kiss and make up with people you’ve been on the outs with – especially since they’re in a position to help. Part of you might feel like you’re being hypocritical and two-faced, but that’s your pride talking. The simple truth is it takes two sides to spoil a friendship and this is one of those occasions when penitence goes a long way. It doesn’t matter who’s right and who’s wrong when Mount Vesuvius is erupting in the background. What matters is getting in the boat and making your escape. You can always work out your differences later.

Co-workers, clients, and even your boss will be treating you like their personal confessor this week. They’ll be sharing their doubts, confiding misgivings, and divulging some sensitive information. It will be tempting to chime in with some criticisms of your own – especially when they talk about faults that you yourself have accused them of – but don’t. They trust you and really feel like they can open up to you and that’s the highest compliment that anyone can hope to be paid. Trust that they are working things out for themselves and will come to the conclusions you want them to come to on their own.

A crisis is the hardest of times and the most honest of times as it separates those who will be found wanting from those who step up to the plate when there’s a Full Moon in Libra on April 12th. Libra is the zodiac sign of judgment. Its symbol is the scales and since ancient times scales have been used to determine the value of what’s weighed in the balance. This will show you the true merit of the people in your life and what you take away from this will go on to inform your heart and your conscience in the days to come.

Mercury retrogrades are always dicey, but this latest one (March 15th to April 7th) was especially unruly because Mercury began its retrograde on the day after the Lunar Eclipse in Virgo and then changed signs on the day of the Solar Eclipse in Aries on March 29h. This would have heightened the feelings of anxiety and combativeness which explains why rude awakenings were ruder and shocking surprises were even more shocking. Although you deserve to be in the free and clear, you won’t be until April 20th. That’s when the wayward pieces of your life will come back together and things will make sense again.

Maybe this is a good time to show some people the door. You’re tired of the complaining, the arguing, and hysterics. You’ve had your fill of the blame game and the threats to pull up stakes and leave. If someone isn’t happy with your friendship, then maybe it’s time for this person to go. If recent events have proven anything, it’s that you need to be choosier about who you hang out with. Venus out of retrograde on April 12th promises to rectify the balance between givers and takers, leaving you with only one question to ask: what have you done for me lately?

You never quite know what emotional space you’ll be in from one day to the next. That’s because your Ruling Planet, the Moon, cycles through all of the twelve zodiac signs in a single month. Sometimes you’re rash and impulsive and sometimes you vacillate. The Full Moon in Libra on April 12th shows you carefully weighing the pros and cons of a long-term association in the balance to see if it’s worth continuing or not. It looks like you’re leaning towards ending things but a last minute save – in the form of an eleventh hour confession or heartfelt promise to reform – could change all that.

You thought all was lost, but it’s the opposite that’s true when your prize reappears tantalizingly in reach on April 7th. You’ll want to snatch it while you can, but it’s not that easy. Although Mercury comes out of retrograde on the 7th, that doesn’t mean you’re in the clear. You still have two treacherous passages to negotiate – one involves a choice where you’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t (April 12th) while the other reveals a friend to have been a rival all along (April 18th). Yet if anyone can emerge from all of this with prize in hand – it’s a Gemini.

On April 8th you’ll be approached by people who are certain that you – and only you – can salvage an unsalvageable situation. It’s all very flattering and you’ll be tempted to say “yes”, but this is a good time to remember that Ruling Planet Venus is still retrograde which means either the timing is off or the other parties aren’t interested in making a deal right now. There’s a reason why all the King’s horses and all the King’s men couldn’t put Humpty-Dumpty back together again and that’s because what they were looking at was an unholy mess. You might want to pass on this one.

Don’t be surprised if you’re overwhelmed by an inexplicable wave of loneliness on April 12th. Logically it doesn’t make sense because you know you’re surrounded by people who truly care and want the best for you. In fact it’s hard to think of a time when you’ve felt so supported, but the Sun conjunct Chiron opposite the Moon in Libra is bound to resurrect early memories of feeling unwanted or unwelcome. Like with any lunar transit, the effect will be passing however it does provide an opportunity to compare where you are now versus where you were then and to celebrate how far you’ve come.

Mercury coming out of retrograde is usually good news. That’s because it’s during the time that Mercury is traveling backwards in the sky that we experience unexpected fiascos like our car breaking down, our computer going on the fritz, or appliances just giving up the ghost. It’s like somebody threw a cosmic monkey wrench into the smooth running of our day-to-day lives. Unfortunately Mercury’s change of direction on April 7th won’t exactly be life returning to normal. That’s because Mercury turned retrograde in one sign (Aries) and came out of retrograde in another (Pisces). It’s like going to sleep in one place and waking up somewhere else with no idea of how you got there. If you were born under a water sign then it’s no big deal because somnambulism – figuratively or literally speaking – is hardly a foreign concept. You just go with the flow. But for everyone else, you’ll want to wait until Mercury re-enters the zodiac sign of Aries on April 16th to get the lay of the land.

Retrograde Venus trine Mars on April 6th could bring a romance with someone from the wrong side of the tracks, a friendship with a person from a different culture, or a fascination with an acquaintance who espouses a different set of beliefs. This could set up an embattled situation with loved ones and friends. People will warn you away from this association and if you’re not serious you might want to skip the headache; but, if you are serious then be prepared to be the object of ire and derision. Many will question the choice you’re making, but what can you say? Love is love.
