Aries Weekly Horoscope | April 28th – May 4th 2025
No. You’re not imagining things. Those insinuations, innuendos, and double entendres have all been carefully orchestrated to peak your interest. Being an Aries you don’t take offense. You relish the attention and delight in sexual tension. However it does look like what started out as punning buddies could get serious so you’re going to have to think long and hard about how far you want things to go on the May 2d when Venus conjoins Neptune. Hooking up could be fun in the moment, but what’s fun and games for you might be a bigger deal for the other person so remember to flirt responsibly.

The good thing about Pluto turning retrograde on May 4th is that whatever crisis you’ve been struggling with these past six months will retreat back to the dark corner from whence it came. Retrogrades mark a change in planetary disposition; a time when what was on is called off. We often think of retrogrades as upsets in our routine because things don’t go according to plan (like with a Mercury retrograde for instance), however retrogrades can also signal a time of reprieve β like when Pluto, the planet of ordeals, reverses direction. But just because something’s gone dormant doesn’t mean that it’s been taken care of. It will be back – which means that you have five months to make the switch from being reactive to proactive. Make the necessary adjustments, the bold moves, and decisive choices you need to make to ensure that you are leading with your best foot forward rather than being buffeted about by circumstances. To be well-prepared is to be well-armed. Pluto comes out of retrograde on October 13th.

Venus/Saturn conjunctions (April 24th) are famous for getting you to seriously examine your feelings. If you feel like things could succeed in your relationship if only the other person would change in the way you want them to then this may not be the partnership for you. However if you’re dedicated to improving relations β no matter how long it takes – then stay the course and you’ll eventually find your way back to each other. Then again since this is the last Venus/Saturn conjunction in Pisces for 28 years, you might be better off just throwing in the towel and saying “enough is enough.”

You’re stubborn, but you’re nice about it. You’ll let people disagree, challenge you, and vehemently express their displeasure knowing full well that once they feel like they’ve been heard, they’ll come around to your way of thinking. It’s something you’ve been doing for years without calling attention to it. The difference, however, in the type of exchanges you’re having nowadays is that Pluto is in your sign. This gives off a certain air of inevitability that others can find disconcerting so be sure when you wind up getting your way in the end to make people feel like they still had a choice all along.

Old formulas for success are undergoing a remarkable transformation and you need to be open to what that means. You’re aware that there’s no going back to the way things used to be, but you’re also unclear about what the future holds. And it’s precisely because you don’t know what your future looks like that you need to refrain from manufacturing one based on past hopes and disappointments. You stand at a crossroads and like with most crossroads, it’s best to remember that the choice of which way to go has already been made. All you have to do is get used to the idea.

We all tell ourselves there will be plenty of time in the future to get together, touch base, or pick up where we last left off with a loved one or friend yet the Venus/Saturn conjunction on April 24th shows that this isn’t always true. Perhaps this is when you hear that someone close is moving away, embarking on a new path, or will soon be besieged with pressing concerns that take up all of their time. It may feel like a door has shut, but that shouldn’t stop you from reaching out. Even if it’s only a hurried conversation, it’s better than saying nothing.

As the only fixed sign that doesn’t have a planet traveling through its constellation you may think that you’re Switzerland. And this would be true if your planetary rulers weren’t Mars and Pluto. Unfortunately they are, which means you’ll find yourself in the center of tug-of-war as two parties try to win you over to their side. Both sides of the dispute feel wronged so both sides will appeal to you for understanding and support. Unfortunately neither party is interested in settling their differences so the rift will only escalate β and given the intensity of the opposition, there probably won’t be any relief until late August.

How do you tell someone that you just don’t have the energy to continue with an association? Most people would say “tell them”, but as a Libra you spend a lot of time and energy managing your conversations. You’re very careful to say the right thing at the right moment so as to avoid hurt feelings and unpleasant confrontations. But when you take the responsibility of both people in a relationship on to your own shoulders is it any wonder that you’re exhausted? The Venus/Saturn conjunction on April 24th gives you an opportunity to come clean while allowing the other person a chance to respond.

Are your choices moving you forward or backward? It’s a question worth asking this week. Born under the zodiac sign of work and service, it’s easy to let your obligations to others take the wheel. You will always put their needs ahead of yours. Yet this can also be a form of passing the buck and that’s something you need to own when Venus conjoins Saturn in Pisces on April 24th. If you truly want to continue in a relationship, great; if you’re returning to it because it’s safe and familiar then you may be robbing yourself of the chance to follow your own path.

You may feel like you have a lot to prove these days with gung-ho Mars back in your sign after a months’ long retrograde. Not only are you pumped and ready to go, but you’re looking to make up for lost time. What you may not be taking into account is that the world has changed since Mars turned retrograde in Leo last December. People have moved on which means that you’re the one who has to catch up to developments already in motion. It’s humbling to have to revisit your perspective, but it’s better than sticking to a script that’s out of date.
