This is the perfect thing to do at the Full Moon…

80% of people who set New Year’s Resolutions in January have already completely given up on them (or forgotten about them) by February…

A few weeks ago, I shared about my Barre Workout Class that was so full I almost didn’t get a space. It was almost at capacity, filled with well-intentioned souls who had resolved to make this the year they prioritized their health.

Sadly this week, there was plenty of room in class, and I was surrounded by most of the familiar faces I’ve been training with for months.

I’m no longer part of the 80% of people abandoning the promises I made to myself with a heart full of hope and the best intentions, but I can definitely say it wasn’t always this way!

And once again, I have astrology to thank for this, and here’s why…

I have found that the “Cosmic Curriculum” offers the perfect, built in structure for living an intentional life.

By aligning intention setting practices with the rhythm of the Lunar Cycle, focusing intentions on the areas of life the astrology is highlighting at different points, and then using the Solstices and Equinoxes as built in 90 day “check in points”…

ALL of the “best practices” researchers have found to be essential for setting and keeping intentions (or goals) are covered.

The Cosmic Curriculum offers a rhythmic consistency, ensures we’re not biting off more than we can chew at any given moment in time, and has built-in reminders to not only set intentions, but also recognize self-sabotaging tendencies, celebrate progress and clear blockages.

And the best part? The chalk board with all of our assignments and reminders is IN THE SKY! Literally, written in the stars 🌟🌟🌟

So this week, we have a Full Moon in Leo on Thursday, January 25.

If you set New Year’s Resolutions (or even better, if you set intentions with the Capricorn New Moon), this is a GREAT time to revisit them.

You can use the bright light of the Full Moon to bring your intentions, resolutions, and goals into the light of your awareness and:

  • Celebrate and give gratitude for ANY progress you’ve made.
  • Notice anything that might be “up” right now that’s not feeling so great. Reflect on how/if this connects back to your original intention – is it giving you a hint about something that needs to shift in order for your intention to emerge?
  • Remember WHY these intentions are important to you and recommit to YOURSELF.

It’s never too late to begin again!

We all need reminders and luckily, the Universe has our back.

We just have to listen 🙂

So on this Full Moon week, I’m sending you encouragement, seeing you thriving, and celebrating how far you’ve come already.

With love,
Amanda
