It's hard to tell if you're really making a difference at work or if you're there to keep things from falling apart. Somewhere along the way, obligations got the upper hand so that you feel more like you're serving them than fulfilling them. Given your druthers, you'd move on, but it's clear that you can't because of the people who rely on you. There are times when we're stuck with a situation, and this is one of them. Thankfully, it won't last forever… indeed, the energy should lift after the 25th… but for now, soldier on and know that you'll soon be rewarded for your fortitude.
