Speaker: [00:00:00] Welcome back to the Astrology Hub Podcast. I'm your host, Laura Orcutt, an astrologer and head of operations here at Astrology Hub. If the last few months have felt like a slow build, get ready, because things are about to shift. According to Rick Levine, April carries the most momentum out of any month this year, thanks to a powerful pile up of planets in Aries. With all that energy we can expect a surge of thrust, enthusiasm, and forward motion. That's exactly what Rick and I discussed in today's April forecast. So let's dive in.

Laura: All right, Rick, so last time we were here, we talked about the astrology of March, and you talked about it being a threshold month with Jupiter stationing, direct amplifying things of sorts. We're recording this on March 16th, so we're only halfway through, but how is it looking from your end?

Is it, or is this threshold playing out kind of as you would su suspect it would, or does it look different?

Rick: Well, it looks different only because things are always

different.

Than as we expect [00:01:00] them to

be, but energetically

as

much

to my, you know, disappointment, it's right on target.

I mean, things are unfolding, kind of the way one might have expected.

And

that's good news, bad news.

It's good

news for astrology and Astro

jurors. it's bad news because April's going to

follow in

suit and it's going to be an another pretty intense month. you know, I think that, I think the first half of March, Is a bit more rugged than the second part. And, and I think actually the transition of going from March into April has some potential, that, I'm enthused about.

But I'm also

aware that we humans sometimes. Don't take the potential that we're offered.

and so, yeah,

so I think that that April

is going

to be an, an incredibly interesting

month and, [00:02:00] and for everyone who thinks

that

things are moving fast now, I mean, I'm tired

of saying hold onto your hats, fasten your seat belts, make sure your luggage is stored beneath you.

You know, all,

all that kind of

because we

are on a flight and it is definitely, taking off end in progress and gaining, gaining momentum.

Laura: Yeah. And last month you talked about the Aries New Moon in April being a big one, as all of the kind of planets are building up to that moment. So why don't you walk us through April and let us know, when the gas pedal's gonna get hit.

Early April: The Blind Enthusiasm of Aries

Ad 1

Rick: Well, the gas pedal's been hit. the question is how far

through the

floor

can we continue to

keep pushing it and the vehicle still keep accelerating. that becomes, I think the, the,

the

deeper issue. I mean, we start off the month with. with the sun in mid Aries and, and although

Venus has

moved off

into,

into [00:03:00] Taurus, which is kind of like a hopeful

solidity off

in the future, sometime as all the planets or, you know, the faster

moving planets will eventually move from, from

Pisces and Aries into Taurus.

But on April 1st,

we still have

Mars. End Mercury

back in Pisces along with the north node.

And so even though there's thrust, the sun

is in Aries, along with of

course the Saturn Neptune

conjunction,

which is widening, but.

you know, I mean at the, on the first of of April

that Saturn, Neptune

is about three

and aqua three and a half degrees of from exact,

and

if you saw that

in someone's birth chart,

you go, wow,

that's, that's a conjunction

of Saturn and, and Neptune.

And so we still have that whole feeling of what's real and

it's beginning to settle in, you know, on so many levels of how

do we. How do we process [00:04:00] this ending of one dream myth awareness That's not just about

the last few weeks or last

few months, and not even the last several years or decades. In some ways, this is about who humanity is for the last five, 6,000 years.

That's how big this process is we're going through,

and it's not all aimed

at. March

or April or even

May or even 2026, but it's certainly a threshold year and, and April has, I think, more momentum

than

any other month

this year.

And that momentum

comes from

the fact that. That as Mars moves into, Mars

moves into Aries, and

it does that on April 9th.

That's gonna be Mars at home in, its in, in its domicile

and on home

[00:05:00] field. and the sun, of course is already in Aries, and the sun is exalted in Aries, meaning

in traditional astrology. If the sun isn't at

its home sign. Leo, it likes being in Aries

better than

anywhere else. So we'll have the Sun and Mars on April 9th in Aries.

And then on the 14th

Mercury, which had been retrograde. Now moving

direct,

mercury will move into Aries on the 14th, and so by, by the the 14th, we already have

this crazy

pile up of Mercury. Neptune, Mars, Saturn, Aris, Chiron, the sun. And on

top of

that, on

the 15th, the

moon swings into Aries. Now you gotta understand as there's so much planetary energy now in Aries, and I say now, I mean by April 15th, there's [00:06:00] so much planetary energy in Aries with Venus

and Uranus

and Taurus, that within two signs we have.

Mercury, Neptune, moon, Mars, Saturn, Aris, sun, Chiron, Venus,

and Uranus. That's

10 planets within 60 degrees.

That means

there's no squares,

there's

no oppositions, and the focus is on wat. It's on Aries, which is thrust, it's it's blind enthusiasm. You know, the word enthusiasm, the etymology it means with God.

because

Theos like theology is the theos and, and enthusiasm,

and

enthusiasm really means with God. And it's like when the

ego steps outta the

way and you're just channeling the. The, the whatever that, that's where

the word

enthusiastic or enthusiasm comes from. And that's [00:07:00] good news, depending upon which God you're channeling.

And of course, right now we are

in a, you know, theocratic war of the gods that we've been fighting for at least, at least a few thousand years.

Maybe

longer.

I mean, this war may go back to

a battle between monotheism and Polytheism some four or 5,000 years ago. but, but

the wars

that we

are fighting right now,

whether it's in the United States.

the Christian nationalism becoming a

political

entity from a

religion or whether in the much of the world, whether it's radical Islam becoming a political statement from a religion. And so enthusiasm isn't necessarily. A positive thing. It just depends on how we manage it. And so this really is [00:08:00] where April is going.

And, and again,

We

still have to keep in

mind that even though by mid-April as these, you know, as. As we're approaching the, the New Moon,

the new Moon is on April 17.

actually at 4:51

AM that

would be Pacific to Pacific

Daylight Time. so that would be what, plus eight hours that

would be,

12:51 PM in,

Greenwich Time or Universal Time.

But,

but what we're getting also

is

still the push from Saturn moving away from its conjunction with Neptune, which as we know

was

exact back on February 20th. But here's the other thing that happens this month, is that

as

Mercury and Mars. and,

and even

Venus through the beginning of

the month

are all moving through Aries.

They're all making

conjunctions with the slower

moving planets.

The Most Conjunctions in Aries Rick Has Ever Seen

Rick: [00:09:00] I've never seen a month with,

with so

many conjunctions. In fact, I had to go back and count them. There are eight.

conjunctions

in Aries this month, which is absolutely, absolutely nuts.

I I mean, we actually

begin,

the month

with a full moon that we

haven't even talked about.

and I think

that

that full moon is,

is significant to set the

month off because.

it's really the only opposition we're

going to get.

because

the moon, the

full moon in Libra

Is on the first of the month

opposing

Neptune and

Saturn, and then the sun, which is the

full moon. And, and

um, and Eris and Chiron, and I know a lot of people aren't talking about the chiros Chi. Chiron

Aris conjunction,

which was exact, now back on, on March 19th, but this is [00:10:00] about

a potential for healing old wounds.

This

is about Aris

stirring up the, the chaos in

order to. Put in front of our faces, the disorder of what's doesn't fit in, of what's not, what's disenfranchised, and then Chiron offering the potential to teach us how we may be able to

step

outside of or beyond our old wounds.

Now,

during the the, the month

though,

we have Mercury and Mars

and the sun. Remember, Venus has already just tipped into Aries,at

the beginning

of of April. And so what we have is we have as Mars moves into Aries,

by April

10th, 11th, 12th, Mars. Is conjoining

Neptune,

13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th.

It's then conjoining

Saturn, even through [00:11:00] the

18th, 19th, 20th. So Mars is sweeping through that first, that energizing the dream, the fantasy, the illusion, and then.

Hitting

the wall, hitting Saturn.

Laura: And

Rick: in fact, even as the sun is moving through the latter part of Aries, the sun itself will

conjunct Aris,

on April

14th and Chiron on April 16th,

but.

But going back even prior to that, we have each of the planet's, mercury and Mars

in particular, lining

up first with Neptune and then with Saturn. And each time Mercury and Mars line up

with Neptune

and Saturn,

we're gonna get

the dream first, we're gonna get the

imprint of what's real, of the

imagination,

of the

potential vision.

And visions

can be positive

or negative, they can be based upon love and potential or fear. And so what we're going to get is

each of these

planets making [00:12:00] these

alignments.

and, and, and in fact what

happens is

that the, the actual scenario is,

as

I said before, Mars moves into Aries on April 9th, and then it joins up

with Neptune

on April

12th.

So almost like right away,

Mars moving into

Aries, lines up with Neptune. This is the Shapeshifter, this is the what's real, what's what's being conjured up. Because Mars is

the physicality based

upon what we imagine. and then Mercury right behind it moves into Aries on April 14th. Then. On April

14th, the sun is also lining

up with Aris, and this is more complications, discord, upset, and then the sun lines up with Chiron on the 16th, and right behind that we have.

Mercury now lining up

with Neptune

and now our thoughts are,[00:13:00]

are

they're no longer

Mercury and Pisces, where it was total dream, but we're getting a replay

of all

those fantasies,

but we

wanna

do something about

it now because Mercury and Aries. Is sure of itself. It's, it's with God, it's Entheos. and that's on the 16th, leading right up to that new moon.

and the new moon that occurs,in, in Aries and and the New Moon

on

April 17th, is crazy because I don't think we've ever seen a new Moon with

such

density. First

of all. The

new Moon will be conjoining, Eris, and

Chiron. It'll be

just past it, but that energy will

be right there. Mercury will be

lined up with, Neptune,and

Mars and Saturn all between two and

seven degrees of, of Aries.

And we're talking here, thrust, we're talking about movement forward and there is one [00:14:00] saving grace in all of this that I am. Banking on that will build until the, you know, well, it builds all

the way through the

month. and we're getting a flavor of

it at the end of March. And

that is that as these planets are moving through Aries, mercury and Mars,in particular, they're gonna be making sextiles with Pluto.

Now,

why this is important is that. Remember

we have a slower moving energy

of Saturn and Pluto, which was last exactly conjoined on January 12th, 2020,

which was the day that the COVID,

virus was announced.

The first,

fatalities were,

were,

announced and the genome for

it was, was

announced. At

the end of March, Saturn moving through five

degrees of Aries makes a

sextile.

With that Pluto giving

us an [00:15:00] opportunity to create a new structure or to restructure things. Now why this

is so important is that on, I is that there are

a couple of sex

tiles to Pluto on April 16th, just prior. To this new Moon, mercury.and Mars both make sex

tiles. The Mars Sextile

happens on

the 16th just prior to

the New Moon

and the Mercury sextile to Pluto

happens on the 18th, just

after,

the, the New Moon.

and both of

these I

think, give us an opportunity to work with

the transformations. There ain't

no going back. This is what the Aries thrust is all about. I think last month,

I

said something like,

goodbye and thanks for the fish.

That's the reference to the

planet's leaving

Pisces.

Well, the

planets have all left

Pisces.

It's gone. It's done. And, and in fact, by the time

we

get to

that new moon, the [00:16:00] energy

is so intense that we're on a rocket ship. The rocket ship has taken off. The

environment will be different. And I know we've been saying that

for a couple

of months now.

I say we astrologers all

over the planet.

But look, it is different.

You know, we are at. War in a crazy situation where without getting too judgmental or political, no one knows what the hell

we're doing, why we're there, what's going on.

I mean, everyone has different ideas, but, but this Aries energy is still going to push us even forward, you know, faster and, and further.

Taurus Season 2026

Rick: And then on April 20th, the sun, move, it moves into Taurus. And, and I think that that is a, a. Bit of a relief also. Prior to that, Mars lines up with Saturn,

conjoins

it on April 19th, and so this new moon is pushing [00:17:00] us forward on

the 17th, and then Mars hits Saturn. It's

almost

like we have to slam

on the brakes or someone slams on the brakes for us, there's something that basically says, this has gone on

long

enough.

We have to, we have to control this Aries energy. and, and I

think that that becomes then,

on later on the 19th, when the sun moves into Taurus

and then on the 20th

we're getting more

conjunctions, mercury catches up with Saturn,

mercury

catches up with Mars. 'cause remember, Saturn and Mars are together.

And so

right now we're getting this Mercury talking with Aries Forcefulness with Saturnian authority. We can't,

it, it's almost like it's gonna

go one of two ways. Either the authorities are gonna come down so hard that's that, or the resistance is gonna be in some way

blocking it. I think that this April 20th is a really

key key point. Then

by [00:18:00] the time we get to

the 23rd, we have two things that happen,

both

of which we've kind of been waiting for. it's actually

on the 22nd, early on the 22nd, on the 23rd, we have Venus catching up with Uranus at

the end of Taurus Now. Remember, Uranus

has gone into Gemini, backed into Taurus, and is now

ready to go back

into Gemini.

That'll be on April 23rd, and once

it's in Gemini, it will

be there for the next seven years. It won't go back into Taurus again and just literally, moments. Before Uranus moves

from Taurus to Gemini. actually the time is really interesting. It's at 7:00 PM

well, 6:58

PM on April 23rd.

This is Pacific Time.

Venus catches

up with Uranus. Let's

just break that down a

[00:19:00] moment. We'll

be feeling it

for days prior

to it. Venus is what

we like. Venus

is what

feels good. Venus is our attractions. Venus, all month of April is at

home in

Taurus. Venus

is strong.

This month we're gonna be wanting to find a way to be sensible.

We're gonna be wanting to, we're gonna be looking at our paychecks.

We're

gonna be looking at what food

we're eating.

Where does the food sources come from?

This is a month of Venus in Taurus. Kind of reminding

us

that life isn't just about Aries fighting

battles

and defending territories. And

so on April

23rd

at

6:58 PM

Uranus lines up with, Venus lines up with Uranus, and then just

a few hours later at 9:00

PM three hours later, 9:03 PM exactly. Venus moves into Gemini right after the

conjunction. So between

the 23rd.[00:20:00]

25th,

we have Venus lining up with Uranus at the very, very, very end of Taurus.

Then Venus moving into Gemini,

followed by Uranus

moving into Gemini on the

25th,

and that's

another new world.

This

is as

big a shift as we can possibly imagine. And remember, Uranus

is about exciting,

sudden unexpected change that relieves tension. It brings things up that were hidden, that were buried. Venus bringing it, into a place of like, oh, I'm gonna like these changes. Something's happening. This is really exciting.

This is

out of the box. And then as Uranus moves into Gemini on the 25th.

It's

almost like Uranus for the last seven years,

except for

a

few months

last summer when it was in Gemini and

then back into Taurus. For the

last seven years, Uranus has been like granite because Taurus

is [00:21:00] stable. Earth

and Uranus about change.

Has almost been like in a straight jacket. Changes have happened.

Really,

really big ones, but, but abruptly and suddenly. Whereas once Uranus

moves into Gemini, it's like free, it's

like change becomes falling off another rolling log.

And so where freed from

the, from, from that uranium holding

back.

Also, when Uranus holds back, it attracts bigger changes.

The lightning has to strike harder. The earth has

to quake in order for,

for that granite to shift.

Uranus moves into Gemini

and this whole information war,

ai, et

augmented reality,

all

of these things

are going to take off on another

level again, especially.

Because

as Uranus moves into Gemini,

it's

by sign

picking

up on its trine to Pluto

in

Air [00:22:00] Sign

Aquarius,

Uranus moving into Air Sign Gemini, and that will continue to grow all the way through their first exact.

Perfected trine in

July. Now, meanwhile, of course, we still have Neptune at their midpoint, and that still brings in this whole issue of

what's real, of idealism, of the

dreams of humanity. What are we gonna manifest out of this? So, you know, this

is all rock and roll. And by the way,

the day that Uranus moves. From Taurus into Gemini on the 25th, the sun makes a 90 degree angle. having just moved into Taurus, the sun will make a 90 degree angle to Pluto and Aquarius. And so we're getting ano, another round of

this a. Power struggle, the deep,

I, I wanted to say the

deep state, but

it's all

deep states of consciousness, not

just a political, [00:23:00] you know, issue.

and I think the, 23rd, 24th, 25th, th this whole period of time is gonna be, quite.

Disruptive, but

also potentially, important

in where

we go with all of this, because by

the

26th

we have Mercury

squaring Jupiter.

This is big ideas,

talking

about big solutions to things.

then on the 28th we have Venus making a trine with Pluto.

now the planets that as they eventually will move. Into Gemini. they will each make a trine to Pluto.

This isn't. Now until, until May

and June. but this is all going

to be

feeding that deeper change that I think is gonna be, it's, it's,

gonna be the

culmination

of whatever

the

craziness is that's going

on right now.

Speaker: Hi, friends. As Rick mentioned, Uranus entering Gemini is going to bring a lot of big shifts. If you're curious about how Uranus entering Gemini will affect you [00:24:00] personally, we created a free guide that walks you through what Uranus and Gemini means for all 12 Zodiac signs. In it, you'll get a glimpse of what this next cycle means for you, as well as reflect on how Uranus and Taurus has already reshaped your life.

Ad 2: Uranus Guidebook

Rick: I think

in March we've already seen, like indications that

these shifts are

going to be way bigger than we thought, and then April moves

along. I think

that

they're going to

grow, but they're gonna have to change

into something that has

sustenance. That would be the Venus and then the sun moving into, Taurus that will actually look for some way to stabilizing it

before then.

and Uranus

both move into Gemini at the end of the month.

Laura: Wow. Okay. So you said that April has the most momentum of the entire year. That's like a, that's a pretty bold statement, and I think that's something that we [00:25:00] should all consider working with in our own personal lives.

Working With Aries Momentum

Rick: And, and yes, and I think that, that

it, it's too

late to wait

until the, this whole thing becomes

more settled in some way.

Through the summer, through the June, July, August. I mean, there's a whole larger

sweep that will get unfold at some other point, but right

now it's what we do now is I, I is architect our architecturally

important

to the foundations

that we're laying just as what we were doing back in February as the,

Saturn,

Neptune conjunction

was building. We were talking even back then

that the dreams that we were imagining, what we were willing to let go of

in order for the new

to form. again, I come back to

this deeper plutonic metaphor that I've used again

and again and again, and that is the difference between change and metamorphosis is like the leaves change [00:26:00] colors and fall off

the trees

every year.

When a

caterpillar becomes a butterfly,

it only does it

once. It's a full

structural, at a very cellular

level change.

And, and in

a way, in order for

the caterpillar

to become the butterfly,

caterpillar's gotta

go. Mm. And so there's, this is not without

pain that, you know, I've said many times, maybe

even here, maybe even last month, I've said that if a Caterpillar had an ego the way we humans do, there's no way in hell.

I use that word

as

a double entendre. There's no way in hell that the caterpillar would ever get into the cocoon because that's the hell realms. I mean, hell isn't bad. It's just a place of endings and beginnings of transformation. it's only the Christian mythology. That has eliminated

the complexity

of the hell [00:27:00] realms that we find even

in Judaism and

Buddhism and Hinduism and all indigenous cultures, where those

in-between states

are where the shamans go to make magic, and yet we have this fear about it,

thinking that we're going to go there and get punished. And so

in, so if, if the Caterpillar didn't go into those. In between states where the caterpillar's gone and there's no butterfly yet, if it didn't go in there, we wouldn't have butterflies. And that's where humanity is.

It's that big. We have

reached a

state of. Hyper complexity

that

we

cannot

sustain and we have to let it

go and reorganize it on

a higher level so that we are able

to become butterflies. And this

may take a year or a decade. A century or two. This is not an overnight thing any more

than the shift from being

hunter-gatherers were to living in [00:28:00] cities and becoming an agricultural species. I mean, that's how big this

change is in front of us. And

no, it's not gonna all

happen in April, but in April

we're going to get that cosmic.

Boot in the butt, that's

going to

certainly be moving us in

a direction. Some people are gonna be

booted in their butt because they're moving in a direction full of fear and full of anxiety and full of

wanting to blame someone else for what's

happening and

wanting to go back to Wade. To the way

things were to make

them safe,

And then other people are gonna be blindly pushing ahead without. Any fear and just wanting to jump off cliffs, and neither of these solutions are valuable or viable

because ultimately the

balance here is between all the intra

Inside Saturnian

planets and the. Trans or external, outside

of Saturn planets, because

we are at a [00:29:00] dance between physicality and meta.

Physicality between what's real sitting here in a zoom room or actually sitting with your

family at home. You know, what, what, what is real,

what comes through in what we call artificial inte intelligence or, or alchemical or augmented intelligence? Or what happens when we

sit in a meditative

state and just think about what comes in naturally.

These are the larger issues that are at

stake

here and, and I don't have an answer because no one has an answer, and a lot of it depends on what we do individually, while we're riding this enthusiastic thrust of April.

Speaker: If you're loving this conversation with Rick and wanna hear more, be sure to hit that subscribe button and notification bells so you never miss an episode. This month we have some amazing guests on the show like Cameron, Allen, Ari, Moshi Wolfe, Jamie Lee, Christopher Renstrom, and Rick will be joined by Steve Judd for the May forecast at the end of the month.

Thank you to everyone who's already subscribed to our channel, and thank you for being a part of our community. Now, [00:30:00] back to the episode.

Laura: so the month starts and the momentum is building. We have Mars and Mercury, namely because they've been in Pisces moving into Aries, and it's all kind of culminating at that. Mm-hmm. Aries New Moon on the 17th, and it seems like the gas, we're on the gas pedal, we're going to the Aries New Moon, but Mars and Mercury are both gonna hit Saturn on their way there, which is kind of like a reality check.

Rick: Yeah.

Laura: And we have the new Moon, and then there's an opportunity with the sextile to Pluto to kind of adjust maybe whatever was that reality check of Saturn. Is that how that could play out?

Rick: yeah, I think that there's

an adjustment there and I think there's also, by the end of April and that Venus

Shrines Pluto. It's a little

bit of a flavor, a taste of what's coming, around the bend as Uranus will be trining Pluto in July.

But, yeah, I think you have

it right.

And I think also we

need to the the New Moon, on the 17th, although

you [00:31:00] use the word

culmination, and in some ways

it may feel like

that it's really the seed period of what's

ahead. Technically,

the month

culminates. This is gonna sound backwards

on April 1st

At the

Full Moon,

which

is the culmination of the prior energy as we try to begin to consolidate

it and focus it and we reach that highest level of enthusiasm, manifestation, not a movement, that's the word I'm looking for, because that the Aries New Moon on the 17th is

less a culmination

than it is an intensity.

of focus

and thrust and creating a direction to something that, that actually will then

Culminate at the next

full Moon. And that'll be at the beginning of May.

Laura: Okay,

great. And you said that the, that new Moon has no squares or oppositions and [00:32:00] so when there's just that density of Aries energy. Is that just like enthusiasm with

No

direction or how, how, how would, yeah.

Rick: Understand

that? The full moon on, on the first, actually because it's at 12, almost

13 degrees of Aries and we

have Jupiter still relatively stationary. It's moving direct

at 15, almost 16 degrees of

cancer. At this, at the, on the first day of April, we have an opposition and a T square.

The moon is opposite the sun and Jupiter is square, both of

them.

And so we

do get that on the full moon by the time we

get to the

new moon, that it's gone. you know, there are no oppositions. There's virtually,

no

squares. We do have these kind of pushing

sex tiles with Pluto,

which as I said, and you, you, noted

is, is a potential

saving

grace,

and yet it's an opportunity that if we don't take it will go

away.

Laura: [00:33:00] Mm-hmm.

So, Rick, you said earlier that people are, might be going in a direction that's driven by fear, anxiety, and that's the wrong direction, or that's like, you know, they're gonna kind of get swayed a different direction or, I, I forget how you said it.

Rick: I, I, I forget also, but fear is only useful if

we have

a real,

threat in our immediate moment to resolve that threat.

And unfortunately, we have a systemic. Cultural free floating anxiety, fear about not being in control about the realization

of what we

thought was real is not real. The realization that people running the show, not just in the United States,

but around

the planet, are either.

Brooks or Satanic

evil

people

that are doing things that are part of, of, of a horrific scenario

that has [00:34:00] been until recently

just written about in books about conspiracy

theories. Then all of a sudden.

It's out there and it's become what we have to deal with. And so people are afraid, and some of that fear is justified, but unfortunately, free floating anxiety

and fear only

manifests as

hatred towards those

people

who we think have instilled that

fear

in us.

And that's the game. Those in power are playing. They

want me to

be afraid

of you

so that you and

I don't get together and say, let's not be afraid of each other. Let's work together and figure out how to make earth livable for us.

Ad 4

Laura: As you said, the fear is justified. You turn on the news and

it's like, oh

my gosh. And I know with Uranus moving into Gemini, you know, last time that happened, there was talks of, there was war and you know, so I guess with, with what we know now about the state of the world, like how do you suggest [00:35:00] people.

Move forward without fear and so that they can actually, like if, if this is the seed moment of this

next era,

like how can someone move forward without that fear that, you know, we're going into a really terrible direction.

Rick: Yeah, well, you know, every time Uranus

has

moved into

Gemini. the United States has been at a, at, at a significant war.

it was in Gemini during the American Revolution. It moved into Gemini during

the Civil War, and

it was back in Gemini again during World War

ii.

ii. This war

that

we are now in may

have physical components, but. This war is different

'cause it's a technology and an information war. This war will not be won by weapons.

There may be weapons involved. Well, there already are.

Look, the United States

has never been, at least in

my lifetime, of

nearly 77 years, there's never been

a time when the

United States was not at war,

you know,

bombing or doing something militaristically. So to say [00:36:00] that we're at war is crazy. We're always at war.

We're a warring nature. Nation.

but I do think that this war is different.

And once

we realize that, we realize that there

is something

we can do. And what we can do is we can control our information and we have to realize that when we

watch the news and we see

all this horrific stuff that's going on.

Our news is all being curated. It's getting more and more curated day by day, week by week, month by month. You know, as those people in control are taking over all of what used to

be public media

and, and this is a very, very real issue. What that

means is that what we can do is we can

talk amongst ourselves.

We can listen and talk with community.

We can get. I think the

most important thing we

can do

is get news

sources from as many perspectives as

we can. I [00:37:00] personally, until someone

pulls the

plug on this, will trust the social media, from someone

standing in

the middle of the storm saying, here's what's happening today, rather than trusting

the, curated news that's coming from some point of view that I don't know what that point of view is.

or if I

do, it's not necessarily my perspective.

And so I think what we can do is watch what

we feed our head with, watch what you know and understand that

all the news

we get is being curated.

I mean, since the beginning of

this war,

you know, I say this war, I

mean the Middle East, action with

the intention on Iran.

All of a sudden, everything else has dropped out of the news.

Because we are

living in

a curated environment.

You know, we've been focused

as a culture, for

example, on Gaza, and

here I'm not

being political

at [00:38:00] all. That's been the focus of

what we've been aimed at. Whereas the number of people who have died in Sudan in a month is greater than the people who have died in Gaza in three years.

Again, I'm not

comparing. Horrible situations.

I'm just saying that we need to be aware that we focus our attention on what we're told to focus our attention on. And the one thing that we can do during this time

is get news

and get information from as many sources as possible, which is one of the beautiful things about your little gig

that you have at Astrology Hub

because Astrology Hub doesn't focus just

on the astrology of

Rick Levine.

or

the astrology of

whomever it is.

You have

a community of people coming from different perspectives, different ideas. And, and, and especially as Uranus moves

into Gemini,

I'm

reminded of a friend who years ago, [00:39:00] 20 years ago,

used to sign all

of

his emails. At

the bottom, he'd have his name, and underneath it it would say just another data point. And that's,

that's Gemini. And we

need to get out of that single focus of believing that the reality tunnel in which we live is the real one, because there

is

no real one. The one that we focus on

now, that's what will become real.

And so we have to pay attention. Now, having said that, there's another thing that we

can do.

This comes back to my think cosmically act locally, and that is that

we can't feed a family unless

we have enough food.

You

know, we can't give someone else water

to drink unless I

have extra water.

And so

from that standpoint, I go back

to that

old Hopi,

prophecy that says, at this

time, it's important to know where your food comes from

and to have water and to have shelter, and

[00:40:00] above all things for those people

on the planet who

are blessed enough.

To have those things. It's important to make sure that you maintain having those things because otherwise all other arguments are irrelevant. If you don't have

what you need to live another day, you're not gonna

be able

to have

your kids or your spouse or your family, or those you love,

or

your employees or whomever.

And so we need to make

sure that we attend to our own lives. And this, of

course, is the

dilemma.

Another great word. You know what a lema is? Guess a dilemma

is two lemas

Laura: Oh, you've said this before, Rick, but

it's

Rick: Okay. And a, a lema is a statement that you make in a Greek

proof,

like in geometry, when we had

to prove two lines were parallel or be

logical and prove what we're saying.

Each step we take is a lema. And if you reach a lema that goes in two [00:41:00] ways. That's a dilemma. And

our

dilemma is how do we keep one half of

the brain

or one

eye focused on the future and survival and the other half of the

brain or the other eye focused on making

sure that my

family is safe

or that I

have enough going on in my life.

That I

can take care

of my responsibilities and maybe even have enough extra that I can share what it is that I have with others. That's the dilemma, and there's no easy answer to that. Everyone has

to find their

own place,

and I think that

most of us are struggling with that, and

that's a good thing to

struggle with.

but it's

not

to do it out of fear. Then closing in and

then trying

to take.

everything. You know, our

whole economic, environment, from the economist Thomas Malus, who basically realized that the earth was finite and that at some point we would run out of resources and there wouldn't be enough to go around and [00:42:00] therefore we better make sure that we have ours before someone else gets theirs.

And this whole,

it's

called Malthusian Economics. And, and, and yet. The flip side of that is the awareness that we live in a universe that has enough energy

to

abundantly supply everyone, with everyone they need.

it's

a,

it's a distribution problem. I

think of the wonderful William Gibson line who says, the future has already arrived.

It's just unevenly distributed.

And

so in the same way, you know, the, the, the wealth of the planet is unevenly distributed

and will

either

now figure out

a way to

redistribute

it. And, and

those who hold that

wealth and power will not go down easily. And they are not. And that's what we're seeing right now

as we're

seeing the gasps of

a dinosaur. We're seeing the the

last gasps of, of, of a [00:43:00] whole way of life that

is trying to hold on

And it will not let go easily. And anyone who thinks that they're just going to, you know, let happiness, peace, and love take over,

it is just not gonna go

that way. and yet that's the battle

that we

have in front of us.

Revolutions

do have pain. and Often collateral damage.

Every time

I use that word, I say

I hate using that word 'cause it sounds

so emotionally

detached.

but, you know, but every war that's been fought for a good reason to basically increase someone's freedom

or people's freedom or to destroy some evil, you

know, invader or invading force, there has been damage.

And you know, and we may have some of that, we already are now. I mean, people are suffering around the planet and part of the

suffering that's going on now, unlike suffering that went on

a

[00:44:00] couple of hundred years ago,

is you get up in the morning

and turn on your

phone and you see it.

you know, a

hundred years ago, 300 years ago, that just

didn't happen.

You, you only knew

about the old guy down the block, you

know, who fell down the stairs and died last night. Other than that, you don't know what happened,

you know,

in a city of three miles away,

Laura: Right. It's so interfaces and I, and I think that's where the, the recommendation to kind of take a step back or be discerning comes from because you don't, you don't know what's real. You don't, your nervous system was not meant to see all of this, hold all of this.

Rick: Aries is, Aries may be awesome. I, I'm an Aries, okay? I like being an Aries. But discernment can be a problem

when you're with God or when you

think that you're channeling that enthusiastic energy because you become blind to the Quin Cos point to Aries.

You know, you know what, Quin

cos is? The, astrological aspect of, invisibility or [00:45:00] irritation or annoyance that needs adjustment

and

the Quin

cos point to zero degrees of

Aries zero degrees of Virgo. Virgo is about discernment. Virgo is the place in the zodiac where, where the cosmos says yes or no.

in the body, Virgo is the bowels where the body says. This is good. assimilated. This is shit.

Send it down the line, Pluto will take care of getting rid of it. No, I mean,

this is the

way it works.

And so with with, with all these planets

stuffed into Aries, we're missing some of that discrimination and we have to really focus on it

And hopefully Saturn moving through Aries during this period of

time we'll be enough of an awareness factor about where the wall is so that we don't have to run over the guard guardrails before we realized that they were there to protect us and to keep us alive.

Laura: Right, right.

Summary

Laura: So Rick, if

you [00:46:00] had a word or a phrase or an image to leave people with for this month, what would it be?

Rick: I

wanted to say no going back, but it's been like that for a bit. I'm thinking of the, the

great Aries hero, that would be, William Shatner or

Captain Kirk from the

original Star Trek. and it basically, our mission now is to go where no human has ever gone before. You know, we are, we are at a

threshold, at a portal.

We

are at that,

that place

that is technically, it's an edge,

it's a cusp.

it's

liminality.

meaning that it's not where we were and it's not where we will be. It's neither physical nor metaphysical. We're somewhere in between.

Going back to the caterpillar becoming the butterfly.

I know that Bruce Lipton got this from someone else, and I apologize, I can't remember whose concept this is.

Someone will throw it in

the chat

for us. Thank

you very much. But the idea is what Bruce [00:47:00] calls li, um, what, calls imaginal cells. And that is that when, when the, the caterpillar.

has entered its chrysalis

stage

and the

skin of the caterpillar melts the hair, disintegrates the eyeballs and, and, and, and nervous system.

Everything of the caterpillar turns into this black

gunk.

And there's

no, there is, there is nothing that resembles anything that ever looked like a caterpillar there. And for all practical purposes, if you open up a cocoon at that point in time, it's dead.

But what happens is that there's

little.

There's little

sparks that

occur in the cells that kind of set up little bits

of networks that as this black brown goo begins to create these impulses, these cells, which Bruce refers to

as imaginal cells, actually

begin

to [00:48:00] visualize

or create.

Rupert Sheldrake would call

from the Morphic field from this energetic

quantum field

or Lynn McTaggart's idea of field.

There's an image that is brought into being that eventually begins to, in a Saturnian way, begins to crystallize into a three-dimensional form that eventually becomes a butterfly,

and that's

where we are.

Laura: Hmm. You gotta trust the

process. Sounds like,

Rick: And we have to

be willing

to let go

of what

we thought

we were.

And again, this transcends

all religious

pol, political

dogmatic. I

don't care what you believe or what you thought was real.

the

program

and begin to let it go because there's new coming in for everyone, all

of us.

That includes me.

And I

don't say that

to be cool. I say

that to remind [00:49:00] myself because like everyone else who's paying attention, I'm realizing that what

I thought I knew, and believe me, I've put a lot of effort

into what I.

Think and what I thought was real, I knew was real, and now I'm beginning to realize,

hmm,

there may be another perspective here. It doesn't mean I need to take that other

perspective. It

just means I need to be in a place that's willing to let go of

the certainty

that I had about

whatever my position was on whatever

the issue

is.

Laura: Hmm.

Amazing, Rick. Thank you. I'm gonna hold the butterfly in my mind all month and just float around like a butterfly and embody that in my own life.

Rick: O One, one last thing about the butterfly, and that is if you're a little boy or girl watching this, this cocoon, and you're so excited and you see movement in it,

and if you get overeager over enthusiastic

and open that

cocoon to help the

butterfly out.

[00:50:00] It'll never fly because the butterfly gains the strength in its wings to fly by the resistance of it fighting against the constriction and contraction of the weight

that it has to bear, that Saturnian. Container of the cocoon is actually on another

level, part of the manifestation.

it's part of the mo creates the momentum for

the, the burgeoning, butterfly to fight and develop

enough strength in its wings that once

it breaks

out of the cocoon,

it actually

can fly.

And so shortcuts here are not a good idea.

Laura: Yes, yes. Okay. So sometimes pressure is good and we need it. Absolutely. All right, Rick, so where can people find you this month?

Rick: Well,

tomorrow I'm heading

to Greece

to spend, two weeks

on

a, on a boat, through the Greek Islands at a wonderful thing called [00:51:00] Mystery School at Sea, and I'm very excited about, about that. but then I'll, I'll be in a combination of, Greece

and the

uk.

And, and France, and then back to the UK

for the Steve Judd.

Conference, which

is, on May 15th, 16th, 17th. and then I'll be to Norwalk the end of May and I'll see you and a whole bunch of

people at Norwalk.

I'm doing the

opening keynote address

For Norwalk and teaching

a post-conference

after it.

And and so that's where I'll be. And of course, like most every other astrologer on the planet who can get a visa into the United States, will be at UAC in September.

there's, the Lilydale Astrology Conference in August. That's also terribly exciting.

You gonna

be there with people like,

Cameron and Ann

Orderly and

and Stormy Grace. I mean, it's gonna be,

it's gonna be

a fun one. and, yeah, and other than that, I'm gonna be. Tied [00:52:00] to my computer, looking at these planets unfolding and tied

to the

external reality. Trying to make sense out of it like everyone

else.

Laura: Yes. Yes. Well, Rick safe travels as you go about your worldly business and, we'll be back next month with actually a special edition with Steve Judd to do the May forecast. so everyone look out for that. And Rick, just thank you so much. I can't tell you how many times I think of you throughout my weeks and the, this conversation that we've had as, as it's unfolding.

So

just thank you for

your insight and your guidance for this whole community.

Rick: And thank you and to everyone

at, astrology

Hub,

whether they're on screen or behind screens.

Doing the magic

that you

guys do because it really is needed on

the planet right now.

As my friend Steve Judd says, astrology

is the lingua

franca of this change in

consciousness, and I'm not sure it's the

only lingua franca, but it is part of the language

that's giving

us all the ability to understand and [00:53:00] to

see what's

going on in

the cosmos in a wider frame of reference

than we're, than we

used

to have.

Laura: Oh my gosh. I couldn't imagine going through it without the language of astrology. So amazing, everyone. Well, thank you so much for tuning into this episode and for making astrology a part of your life. We'll catch you on the next episode.
