Take things one step at a time. If what you're after hasn't vanished by December 24th, then rest assured that you can pursue what you want with the expectation of getting it.

The Last Quarter Moon in Libra on December 22nd shows you finally letting go. You thought you could hold on, but it's clear that you no longer can. Cutting one's losses is never desirable; however, it can be strategic if well-timed. Like a cowboy in one of those old-time westerns who's been left dangling on the edge of a cliff, it looks like there will be a horse galloping past underneath.
