Someone’s got to go first. And the role often falls to trailblazing Aries. When there’s no beaten path, it takes all of Aries's strength and courage to cut through “the way things have always been” to “where no one has gone before.” From cutting the Panama Canal through a continent to reinventing yourself, Aries knows how to get it done. But, a single-minded vision has a few drawbacks. Aries is perhaps the least concerned with relationships out of all the signs. Romance, sexual heat, sure. Competition to win their lover’s heart, no problem. But once they’ve conquered, their sights move on to the next unknown. They need a steady diet of new challenges to feel fulfilled.

Enough With the Fear and Trembling Already | November 13th – 19th, 2023
The unapologetically acerbic Dorothy Parker used to utter the line “what fresh hell is this?” whenever confronted with something jarring and unexpected.
It's a sentiment you'll be sharing this week when the Sun forms an opposition to Uranus on November 13th, followed by a conjunction to Mars on November 18th.
These are cacophonous planetary aspects – shrill and piercing; full of discord and enmity. Now you could run for cover and wait the whole thing out, or you could adopt the Dorothy Parker stance – which is to pour yourself a cocktail and ask someone to light you a cigarette (metaphorically speaking, of course).
There comes a time when fear gives way to defiance, and after weeks of eclipses and oppositions, that time is now. There's something liberating about screaming “I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!” and in this instance, the Universe may hear you and stand down.

Beware of sneak attacks. It's not quite a Game of Thrones maneuver, but it's deceptive nonetheless. It's hard to tell from the planetary placements if this is deliberate or accidental. In other words – is the person you're meeting with in good faith about ironing out details in a contract or negotiation truly unaware of a third party's machinations, or was this a set-up all along? It pays to be on your toes and to follow developments closely. Hopefully, things will go off without a hitch, but Mars under the beams of the Sun on November 18th is known for its cloak-and-dagger tactics, so proceed cautiously.

Either you're the one getting burned or doing the burning. It's one or the other when Uranus opposes the Sun on November 13th. It's clear that a relationship or association has come to an end. To hold on any longer would be like burying your head in the sand. This is the moment when either you or the other person will jump off the see-saw, and seeing how bumpy the landing is likely to be – it's probably a good idea that you be that person. Before feeling too guilty, just remember that the other party would have done the same thing if positions were reversed.
