When there’s no beaten path, it takes all of Aries's strength and courage to cut through “the way things have always been” to “where no one has gone before.” From cutting the Panama Canal through a continent to reinventing yourself, Aries knows how to get it done. But, a single-minded vision has a few drawbacks. Aries is perhaps the least concerned with relationships out of all the signs. Romance, sexual heat, sure. Taurus Weekly Horoscope | July 21st – July 27th 2025
Sometimes when we've endured a long period of struggle we don't know how to stop fighting. This is something that will hit home on July 23d when Venus squares Mars. You're long past winning or losing; what you’re looking at is whether it's better to cut losses. It's hard to think of “cutting losses” as a positive, but being an earth sign one look at the numbers (i.e. money spent or time invested) may convince you otherwise. What's important to remember in times like these is that you were born under Venus, planet of peace, which means your peace of mind is what matters most.

Mentoring is often as educational for the mentor as the mentee. This is something you'll see on July 24th when the Sun trines Saturn. Being a Mars-ruled sign, you don't always recognize when you're being too tough. Mars believes in raising the bar as soon as someone's in reach of it – which is great for improving strength and fortitude; but do it too many times and that person winds up feeling defeated instead of challenged. Encouragement – plus easing up on some of those drills – might produce the positive results you're looking for. It could even be an idea to apply to yourself.

Planets in opposition don't regard themselves as sharing anything in common. They're absolutely convinced that the other one is so alien, backwards, or sinister that they want nothing to do with each other. This might have resulted in a “you stay on your side of the street and I'll stay on mine” separatism, except that this opposition involves the Sun and Pluto. Pluto, named after the Roman god of the Underworld, tends to play upon deep-rooted anxieties. This can drive us to project our fears on to others without a moment's pause or second thought. What makes it worse is that the more we blame others for stoking our fear, the more fearful we become – like an itch that grows inflamed with every scratch. It's a good idea to ask yourself during a transit like this how much of these fears and suspicions have to do with the other person versus how much they have to do with you because the only way you'll find peace of mind is to take back that projection; otherwise you're in danger of becoming the author of your own self-fulfilling prophecy.
