This is this is the work is being in the body and really being available for the guidance that is there for us all the time. So a little bit about Cameron. For those of you who don't know him yet, he has been practicing astrology for almost a decade.

Okay, so let's talk about this concept in general astrology and movement and why you feel it's important to to talk about, to teach, to practice. Yeah absolutely. So you know coming from being a football player and just being like I would say a certified bro, you know, like even coming into astrology, I was still very pro ish.

And, you know, looking through different medical astrology texts and working with like all the material that I've knowledge from Judith Hill as well, you know, the one thing that I felt like was missing in my own practice was like, how do I integrate? Back then, it was just fitness as a generalization of working out in astrology. And so that's something that I've been working on for a long time.

And people who've, been around know that I've been doing that and working on embodiment things in general. But the importance is just simple. As we have financial astrologers, we have medical astrologers, we have vocational astrologers, but do we have exercise specialists, astrologers? And the thing is, we don't. And and that could be go under like an umbrella of medical astrology.

But I just don't know, like I know a few people now who kind of integrate those things. But I just think it's something that we can push more to the forefront. And my hope and wish has always been before Uranus moved out of Taurus, to really bring some type of like, innovative, revolutionary energy to astrology that has to do with the physical body in the physical form.

And so that's what I find the importance is, and also the fact that we sit down just our modern society in general, we needed now more than ever. And over the last year, maybe even less than a year, I've been going back into ancient texts and there's been a lot of different Arabic translations coming out, and there's ways in which they did incorporate ideas of movement, but they were never, very explicit about it or they never really talked about it.

Right. Like, sometimes we will see things in books and it's like this planet goes on this planet and people will see that. And it doesn't say anything about it, doesn't give any logic rationale behind it. And it's the same with the the movement practices. So, you know, in certain years there was a wake up in the morning and like massage the limbs and make sure to stretch the legs and then like, what does that even mean?

I mean, we kind of can understand that, but it's like kind of very generalized. Right. And so I'm just like, okay, I see that it's there too in this way. And I just want to bring it back in a more robust manner where we're bringing in movement, exercise, working out fitness fully into astrology, rather than it being in astrology and not fully making sense, or people don't know how to necessarily connect with that all the time, I hear you, can you give us some examples in what is what is combining fitness and movement and the, you know, exercise with astrology?

What does that look like? Or just some examples of how we could do that, is that working with the lunar cycle? Is that working with transits? Is that working with your natal chart? What does that actually look like? Yeah, I would say all of the above on that right now. And yeah. And the way I'm like going to present you in the in this present moment would be just transits, because I feel like that's something that people relate to really well.

And they it's easier to keep up with that rather than like really the real answer is your chart plus the lunar cycles and all the transits. Right. But it's like we don't need to go there right now because that will be a process to actually understand. And we want it to be something practical that people can walk away with today and understand.

So just even as simple as thinking about the transit that we just went through was a lot of planets where like a lot of planets weren't areas, but alien planets were in Pisces and with Pisces, a lot of the times, the way I work with it is movement via. I like to call it sonic vibrations, but we could just say sound.

Yeah, right. And so while all these things are happening, taking a step back, so even let's talk about Pisces just for a second. When we talk about Pisces, oftentimes we can have this experience of overwhelm because it's the water element which has to do with feelings and emotions, but it's also mutable. So not only am I feeling my feelings, but I'm feeling your feelings.

I'm feeling their feelings. I'm feeling feelings all the way across the planet. Now that we have the media to be able to come in contact with the emotionality. And so when we feel overwhelmed, one thing that's really good to do is to just hum. And there could be a lot of other ways that we do it. Some people use singing bowls, some people play instruments, but we always have our voice right here with us right now.

And so just to home through those things, you know, when I start to feel overwhelmed myself, I tend to just hum, even if it's a low hum in my stomach. But, you know, it can obviously be much more dramatic, which I honestly would invite people to experience when they feel overwhelmed. It's like, can you just let that energy move and be with it?

We also talk about surrender when it comes to Pisces as well. And so, this is not something that is just easy to go into. Like I could have picked a different archetype, but this one could be a little difficult. But just like if you feel so much is like, how much can you let that feeling just move and percolate through you with the sound of the sonic vibration moving through your body?

And there are very simple practices to be able to do in order to get in touch with that. Yeah. So that's just one example that I would use here. Man. I, I've experienced what you're talking about. So I've had times where I'm wanting to elicit a certain archetype in my life. So for example, there was a time where I was I was feeling discouraged and I was lacking confidence.

And I needed to, like, muster courage to continue moving forward. And so I, I started to to basically study the Leo archetype and the lion and the way the lion moves and the way the lion, the presence of the lion in the stance of the lion. So and then I started practicing doing that, like in my own body.

And it shifted things for me. I was able to, to sort of like put on my crown, you know, and put on that like regal energy and feel what that feels like. Which then to me, in terms of learning astrology, once you have that somatic experience of in an archetype, no matter which one it is, it's impossible to forget.

And it's so much easier to describe it, to convey it because you feel like you've experienced it. Yeah. And so this is kind of what I'm getting from you even just, you know, talking about Pisces and some of the energy of Pisces and potentially feeling overwhelmed by a piscean energy. So that a it's anchored somewhere in your body, right. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. That's perfection. You know, that's exactly what I would advise people to do. Exactly what you did, you know. And now, like you said, you like I would say like, you know, people say embody and I will say you infuse yourself with the Leonean energy. Right. And so when you have an infusion of that, just like thinking about making tea, right, you put the herbs in there and then the color changes, the smell change, everything about it becomes something different.

And so you're infusing yourself with these celestial forces in order to, like, have a true understanding through relationality rather than ideology or. That was brilliantly said. It exactly. I know you and I have talked about working with the lunar cycle before.

But just how might they, if they wanted a starting point, how could they begin to work with the new moon, the quarter moon, the full moon that they closing quarter moon and just start to go, okay, these kinds of movements would be good around this time of the month, for example.

Yeah, absolutely. The lunar cycle I use personally the most when I'm working with people, when it's specifically having to do with like fitness working out kind of thing. Right. And so, you know, when we work out, you know, like there's always like people have these like four week programs or six week programs and things like that. And essentially what I do is when it hits New Moon, we start out potentially, let's say with let's say we're just doing something for the arms.

We would just learn how to stretch the arms for the first quarter. Right? Because we're building something up there, we're getting warmed up. We're bringing more light and energy into the body. Right. And then after that we would lift weights, but we would start focusing on recovery as well. Then and then had the from the last quarter square to the to the new moon, we would rest, relaxed and full on to recovery. How do I feel about and take care of my body enough for phase four and process and somebody does that, then they're going to understand that not only for as long as they work one on one with me, but they have now I have this concept. So if they ever feel lost or don't have the motivation, they could look to something still and connect to it in a way that allow them to still be able to make some sort of progress.

But the progress is not just go do it, it's a progress because of this specific process that you understand now, you can't run. As someone who has hurt myself in the gym way too many times. This sounds like such a intelligent, loving, progressively, you know, you would be making you, like you say, gains, but it would be more in a spiral of time, right?

Versus just this like this linear projection that we all we try to do. It's it's funny because I, I've always hurt myself like around month four, month five. It's like I needed that recovery. But it wasn't I wasn't aware and it wasn't built into the way I was doing things. But I love how you're approaching that for you personally and for your clients.

How do you see that impact their their overall health? Picture? Yeah, I would say competence in confidence. That's how it impacts them. You know, I could I could have somebody I could do like personal training, types of approaches where I just show you what to do or tell you what to do, and you might feel good about yourself while you're doing you.

But let's be honest, I'm not going to be around forever. Maybe you're not going to be around here where I may, or to be actually connect with me forever. So once you leave, did you act? Do you actually feel competent about what was happening? Or do you still need me to, like, create a new plan for you? Or do you need someone else to create a new plan for you?

And you've been in your body your whole life. And so it's like to not know the fundamental basics of how you experience things. This process can be really, really helpful to show you the light. And also to remove what needs to be removed through each cycle. Right. And so that's yeah, I think that's really important for people to understand.

And even in my own practice with a medical astrology, I have been like trying to make sure that people know that, like, hey, like this is a process. It's not like I show you these things and they just happen. Just like it has to be like something that we work with through the lunar cycles in order to receive the full nourishment.

And that's also why it's important for the lunar cycles to be specific. Anything attached to the lunar cycles that I work with always has to do with this nourishment and like, like waxing and waning of experiences. And so you understand the full spectrum of what's going on there in your process. I also find that the few people that I did work with that were really keyed into astrology as well.

It also changed the way in which they experienced, like the new and full moons and stuff like that. They weren't necessarily going into the quarter moon stuff, but then knowing full moons became more, tangible to them, and then they and they discontinue doing like no moon means this every single time. And full moons means this every single time, because something about it was as if they were allowed to let the lunar light come in to them and teach them, or show them what was going on.

It's well. So I've seen people also just like, gain more consciousness with the competency in, with, the clarity of that type of approach. You know, Cameron, before we had artificial lights, people did a line movement with the lunar cycle. If you think about the planting cycles, the fact that, you know, they wait for the full moon to actually move location because it would be lit so they could they would do celebrations under the phone like we were.

Our bodies have been connected to these celestial bodies, but because of the modern way we live, we've been so disconnected. So I love this how you're bringing it in very mindfully and helping reconnect with the cycles of nature, both within their bodies and the ones that were influenced by as well. How about transits? Even talking about the lunar cycles with the lunar cycles, I'm always thinking about, hey, like, what if you what if I gave you a program you could do that works with the lunar cycles, and you did that for, let's say, 28 years, right.

And so the first one I'll start with is something that just recently came in, which is Saturn in Aries. Right. And with Saturn, Aries is like, how can you tend to your head?

Like it's just subtle the way our mind goes somewhere else is also movement. So allowing the movement to center into that place and like, find its own home in the body as well. Right? That is another form of movement that we would work with. But usually that's a like a later level of movement. But like the movement of the mind, the movement of the nervous system going to a specific location and really just like, you know, we, I would say creating, neuro connections there as well.

That's another important piece with all of that. So, yeah, now let's talk about the natal chart. How might someone take the planetary placements in their natal chart and create some sort of movement practice to embody those placements even further? Yeah for sure. This is what's most exciting to me, honestly, because this is when I get I can get really dialed in.

What I'll say is for now, let's leave out planetary placements for the sake of everybody being able to take in this. And it can be very generalized in a way that can feel good. So for me, like just being a medical astrologer, we think about the first house, the sixth house, the eighth house, and then the 12th house and whatever sign is in those locations, we would essentially just begin with an assessment.

We would just assess how are these parts of my body experiencing things? Because if these are said to be the places of health or the places that can bring a lack of health, then I would do great justice to myself and my body to make sure that I'm checking in with them and supporting them all the time. Some people say the hips, but I would just go for now. I would say the upper legs, which is I mainly focus on the quads, but we can also for for the moment sake, work on the hamstrings and just checking in with those things. And oftentimes I do this through getting people to get into a specific shape or posture, take some deep breaths and engage those muscles and release those muscles just so they can get some inventory so that we can have an assessment that part of your body corresponds to a specific, place in the space in your psyche as well.

And it also corresponds to things that will be happening in your lifetime. So we would start there with the quads in the hamstrings for Sagittarius. Then Taurus is in the sixth house, so the throat region, something really simple people could do is just press into here in their third region, just making sure it's not tight, making sure there's not pain and there's not stagnation there, and then just breathe into that place.

Also, there could be simple practices where we're just engaging the chin to chest and then slowly cutting the head up, maybe even giving it a few strokes, just making sure that area is not, going haywire, let's say right in just as another reflection for people. Sagittarius people oftentimes can have issues with sciatica. So if my quads are open and my hamstrings are open, then that leaves less of a chance for that sciatic nerve to be pinched.
