Virgo Weekly Horoscope | February 2nd – February 8th, 2026
You’ll have to break ties with one party if you want to pursue a better situation with another. It happens all the time in business, but as a Virgo you can’t help feeling bad. Nevertheless you’ve studied the pros and cons and just don’t see how you can afford to pass up this opportunity. That said, be prepared to pay for it in some way. Maybe there’s a penalty fee or you’ll have to work for both sides temporarily to ensure a smooth transition. The Mercury part of you resents being made to jump through hoops but your conscience will sleep much better at night.

Uranus comes out of retrograde on February 3rd. For most people this might sound like a good reason to dive into the nearest foxhole, but you’ve grown accustomed to the planet of revolution and change hanging out in your solar midheaven. Admittedly you’ll never be a big fan of surprise upsets, but at the same time there’s something to be said for the unexpected turnabouts that wind up working out in your favor and it’s this last part you’ll want to pay attention to. You may think you’ve seen it all, but nothing compares to the Hollywood ending that you’ll experience in late April.

There’s never just one cure-all. Not with you. The way out of a tight fix usually involves a series of short-term solutions stitched together to help you get from here to there. You hate having to borrow from Paul to pay Peter or coax a situation on its last legs to keep going just a little longer yet this is also when you are the most creative and resourceful. You may yearn for security, but you also know there’s nothing more deadening than the formulaic. The trick is to find the midpoint between consistency and cacophony; something you’ll be discovering in the weeks to come.

Thank heavens you were born under a zodiac sign famous for thinking on its feet. If anyone can improvise on the spot or make things up as they go along – it’s you. Mercury/Uranus squares (like the one on February 5th) are famous for pulling the rug out from under our most reasonable expectations. What seemed doable at the beginning of the day may prove impossible by the end of it. Thankfully the aspect is followed by Mercury entering Pisces on Friday. This shows you coming up with a hastily cobbled together solution – one that may be better than what you originally started out with.

You thought you had more time to prevail upon a skeptic to see things from your point of view, but Uranus out of retrograde on February 3rd says that time’s up. Developments that were on hold are back in motion now that the planet of unpredictability is on the move. In fact what’s taking place now may have rendered some differences moot. Ironically this puts you and that naysayer on the same page as you must both scramble to salvage a situation that’s teetering on the brink. Perhaps the greatest twist of all is how Uranus actually brings the cooperation you were seeking all along.

You need to do more than just shake on the deal; you need to get it all in writing. And it doesn’t matter how much you like the person you’re doing business with, how in sync you are, or even the way you finish each other’s sentences – Venus will still be squaring Uranus in your solar house of finances on February 8th. That could result in a surprise about-face or no-show right when you’re ready to finalize matters. Venus/Uranus squares are famous for broken promises which is why you want to make sure that you’ve got everything in writing beforehand. Better to be safe than sorry.

Uranus turning retrograde doesn’t exactly put life on hold, but it does slow developments down significantly. And since it reversed direction last September, you’ve enjoyed a bit of a holiday. No bolts out of the blue, unexpected reversals, or rude awakenings to contend with. Now this isn’t to say that you’ve been absolutely immune. Uranus is still the planet of revolution and change, however its backwards motion allowed for a heads up beforehand so that many of the things that would have taken you by surprise – didn’t. You could see the about-face coming from miles away and you had plenty of time to prepare for it. Needless to say, all of this changes when Uranus comes out of retrograde on February 3rd. This is when life goes back into fast motion. Things that were on the back-burner will be front and center again which is good news for those of you who have been waiting on stalled plans; not so good news if you’ve grown complacent or adopted the Ostrich Policy about certain unappealing situations.

On January 26th, Ruling Planet Neptune departs Pisces and enters the zodiac sign of Aries. This marks a sea change unlike any you’ve experienced before. Although at home in Pisces, Neptune tends to emphasize your more unrequited feelings when it’s in your sign. That’s because suffering and sacrifice lend themselves to more profound and soulful experiences. Neptune in Aries, however, will be an entirely different story because of its fiery temperament. Aries is the sign of “be here now,” which means you can look forward to less longing and more being, now that you’re driven by an insatiable urgency to live in the moment.

Is your ideology running away with you? It’s a question worth asking when Mars conjoins Pluto in Aquarius on January 27th. “Idealistic” doesn’t always mean naïve; sometimes it’s a system of thought – or creed – that people subscribe to in order to live happy lives. It sounds pleasant enough…Utopian even, but that need to control others can get a bit out of control when Mars and Pluto are thrown into the mix. One of the virtues of being an Aquarian is embracing diverse opinions. It’s something to keep in mind when you find your vision narrowing into a “my way or the highway” mindset.

You learned a long time ago that golden idols come with feet of clay, but how will it feel when admirers discover yours? This sort of thing often happens when Neptune takes up residence in a zodiac sign that squares you. Now you could retreat into a corner – full of guilt and shame – or you can turn this into a teaching moment. Not only is it good for those who extolled you to see you for who you are, but it’s also good for them to see that you have the patience and faith to wait for them to find their way back to you when they’re ready.

On January 26th, Neptune enters that part of your solar chart that pertains to matters of the heart. Not only will you feel the desire to dive into the dating pool again, but you’ll find that things are livelier in the deep end. No more hanging out in the shallows for you! Be forewarned that Neptune can bring more than its fair share of agonies, ecstasies, and apotheoses. It may get a bit too mystical for you at times, but you’ll eventually be won over. What you’ll experience in the end is a love that’s fuller, richer, and more profound than anything you’ve experienced before.
