Why you’re feeling so intense right now

Hey there,

If you've felt like life's been cranked up to 11 lately, you're not alone.

The cosmic weather has been full of some seriously intense patterns…

...and our community has been feeling it!

I recently had the pleasure of chatting with two amazing astrologers, Cayelin Castell, and Gemini Brett, about what's happening in the skies right now.

Brett described this time as “massively tidal”~ think big waves, major peaks, and deep troughs.

Meanwhile, Cayelin explained how the March Equinox, Galactic Center alignments, and this extreme lunar standstill create doorways for expanded awareness we can't typically access.

The comforting thing? Both conversations reminded me that this isn't just random chaos we're experiencing.

We're moving through natural cosmic cycles that ancient cultures understood ~ they even built monuments to track them!

There's something reassuring about knowing we're flowing with natural rhythms, even when they feel overwhelming.

So, according to Cayelin and Brett, what exactly is happening in the skies right now? We're experiencing several significant alignments:

🖊️ We're at the peak of an 18.6-year lunar standstill cycle (the “lunar maximums”), with the North Node at 0° Aries, creating extreme tidal effects both in our oceans and in our experiences

🖊️ We have multiple planets crossing the Pisces-Aries cusp, including Venus and Mercury in retrograde

🖊️ Neptune is entering Aries for the first time in 165 years 🤯

🖊️ The moon recently passed through an extreme out-of-bounds position while crossing the Galactic Center

🖊️ We're approaching the March Equinox, when the magnetic field of Earth aligns with the sun, creating “cracks” that allow more cosmic energy to reach us

As Cayelin explained, ancient cultures knew that the Equinox was when Earth's magnetic field was lowered, creating a time when we could more easily access other realms and dimensions.

They built temples and monuments specifically to mark these alignments because they understood their power. 🏛️

Similarly, Brett shared evidence of how the lunar standstill cycle affects everything from oceanic tides to surface temperatures to El Niño patterns ~ measurable effects that ripple through our personal experiences as well.

So, how do you navigate all this with awareness and grace?

Here are some insights and practices for not only surviving but thriving during this extraordinary time:

1️⃣ Recognize the tides are supposed to be extreme right now

If you're feeling overwhelmed by extremes – highs and lows, expansions and contractions – you're actually aligned with the natural cycle. Things won't stay this way forever, but understanding that the intensity is part of a larger pattern can help us surf instead of being pulled into the undertow.

2️⃣ Transmute challenging feelings into strengths

Cayelin shared her beautiful practice of alchemizing denser energies into higher vibrational states. She suggests acknowledging what you're feeling –  anger, hurt, grief – that you permit yourself to feel it fully in a safe space and then intentionally transforming it into higher vibrations of love, joy, and play.

3️⃣ Harnessing the Equinox and Galactic Center energies

The March Equinox (March 20) is a great time to set intentions and connect with higher guidance. Cayelin explained that at this time, we can more easily receive “insights, downloads and information” from other dimensions.

4️⃣ Practice physical and energetic self-care

Brett reminded us of the importance of basic self-care during these intense times ~ rest, nature, movement, air, and sunlight. These simple practices help us remain grounded while navigating powerful energies.

All that to say…

This is truly a time of extraordinary potential.

Yes, we're experiencing extremes, but those very extremes create openings for expanded awareness and new possibilities.

One quality I’m cultivating daily—so I can ride the waves instead of getting knocked down by them—is the practice of actively surrendering to it all while staying as true to myself as possible.

On the night of the eclipse, I felt called to bring music into my surrender process, so I turned to our Inner Circle Community for recommendations…

They flooded me with heartfelt suggestions! So, we turned their contributions into a Spotify playlist filled with songs of surrender.

If you feel like you’re clutching, and having a hard time letting go where you may need to…

Whether you're riding high on these tides or feeling tossed around, thank you so much for being a part of this amazing community navigating the same waters.

I find real comfort in that connection, and I hope you do, too.

Big hugs,

Amanda

P.S. LAST CHANCE TO SIGN UP! ⏰ Don't miss this cosmic gathering! Join our live panel webinar, “Navigating Change,” tomorrow, Tuesday, March 18th. 📅

We're bringing together five brilliant astrologers – Cayelin Castell, Gemini Brett, Natasha Alter, Ari Moshe Wolf, and Nura Rachelle – for an intimate conversation about surfing these cosmic waves with skill.

This is a “Give As You Wish” donation based event – you get to choose the value of it yourself! Can't wait to “see” you there (and we'll send the replay within 24 hours if you can't make it live)…
